Qualifications:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, and 5+ years of relevant employment experience.

Responsibilities:

The Cloud Data Engineer will be responsible for developing, expanding, and optimizing our data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. Key accountabilities of the function Leading Operations for Assigned Systems:
• Designing, implementing, and operating assigned cloud technology platforms as the technical expert.
• Leading internal and external resources in the appropriate utilization of cloud technology platforms.
• Executing ITSM/ITIL processes to ensure ongoing stable operations and alignment with SLAs.
• Steering providers in the execution of tier 2 and 3 support tasks and SLAs.

Qualifications:

Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • 5+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years of experience developing OLTP database applications in Oracle and UNIX/Linux/Solaris environments.
  • Proficient in PL/SQL Types, Collections, SQL Loader, Functions, Procedures, Packages, Materialized Views, Triggers, Complex SQLs, and SQL Reports.
  • Experience with PL/SQL techniques in LOBs, Multilingual character conversion, and Oracle Performance Tuning.
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data transformation, data structures, metadata, and workload management.
  • Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures.

Job Description

Experienced Medidata RAVE programmer to maintain Rave URL and be the point of contact for other teams using Medidata applications such as CTMS, eCOA, Safety Gateway.

  • Subject Matter Expert on Medidata applications who can advise and teach across functional areas

  • Maintain Core Configuration, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all studies

  • Maintain Cloud Admin EDC roles, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all studies

  • Communicate updates/potential impacts on above to teams

  • Communicate and assess impact of Medidata release notes, updates to eLearnings, Rave reports to teams

  • Act as a liaison between Sponsor and CRO programmers

  • Act as a liaison for data collection between Sponsor DM and Statistical Programming

  • Work with business owners of other Medidata applications

  • At least 12 years progressive Clinical Research Experience

  • Medidata Rave Certified Study Builder

  • 10 years' experience as a database programmer

  • Zelta certified builder a plus, but not a requirement

  • Bachelors Degree Required
