This independent contractor role offers the opportunity to work with existing First Command clients, deepen long-term client relationships, and grow your business through a high-touch, consultative approach.

What You'll Do

As an experienced Financial Advisor at First Command, you'll go beyond the basics-providing comprehensive financial guidance that evolves with our clients' lives. You'll:
  • Serve as a Trusted Advisor
    Identify and adapt to each client's evolving financial goals across all stages of wealth-accumulation, preservation, and legacy. Regularly meet with clients to assess their circumstances, track progress, and adjust plans based on life events, economic shifts, and regulatory changes.
  • Deliver Advanced, Personalized Planning
    Develop and implement sophisticated financial plans that integrate investment management, retirement income planning, tax strategies, insurance solutions, day-to-day finances, and estate considerations-tailored to the unique needs of military families.
  • Provide a High-Touch Client Experience
    Foster long-term relationships through a service model that emphasizes clarity, confidence, and responsiveness. Build trust by consistently delivering value and guidance that empowers clients to make informed decisions.
  • Engage the Military Community
    Build relationships with advocates and centers of influence within the local and military community to generate referrals and other opportunities.
Drive Results and Grow Your Business
Achieve performance goals by delivering personalized financial strategies, generating revenue, and building long-term client relationships. Expand your practice through strong referral networks-especially within the military community-while identifying new opportunities and deepening existing client engagement.

What Sets You Apart
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, with a strong record of building and retaining client relationships.
  • Skilled in portfolio and wealth management, with the ability to integrate financial products into a long-term planning strategy.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, enabling you to connect with clients and build trust through meaningful, long-term engagement.
  • The drive and discipline to run your own independent business-offering flexible hours and the opportunity to earn unlimited income based on commissions and performance-based incentives.
  • Military experience or affiliation is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on the Client US hiring processes and policies.
  • Follow a structured work flow accurately and efficiently to include ATS management, interview scheduling, background checks, offer letter generation, as well as onboarding.
  • Be responsive to clients and candidates with a focus on best-in-class service.
  • Be proactive, take ownership and escalate concerns, issues or questions quickly.
  • Multi-task and manage a high volume desk with accuracy.
  • Provide backup to peer Recruiting Coordinators when needed

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key Skills; Talent Acquisition Coordinator/ Recruitment Coordinator
  • Workday
  • Interview scheduling, background checks, offer letter generation and onboarding.
  • 2+ years of HR administration or recruiting coordinator experience in a corporate environment
  • Strong computer skills including web based applications such as Applicant Tracking and HR Systems (prefer Workday experience) as well as advanced Microsoft office skills including Microsoft Outlook and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive friendly attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written communication, with all levels of clients and candidates.
  • Should possess high attention to detail with strong organizational and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities or processes

This role will support the full recruitment lifecycle, specializing in Construction Management, Program Management, and other corporate positions. The ideal candidate will bring strong recruiting expertise and a strategic approach to identifying and attracting top talent. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Source and attract top talent through various channels including job boards, networking, and social media. Pre-screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate qualifications. Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and provide guidance throughout the selection process. Manage job requisitions within our Applicant Tracking System (UKG), ensuring real-time updates and candidate dispositioning. Create a positive candidate experience from the initial phone screen through the offer stage, while following up to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Conduct take calls with hiring managers to support each geographic location which includes Atlanta, Dallas, Boston, Tampa, Houston, Seattle, and more! Collaborate with Marketing to execute career fairs and recruitment events to create awareness around the Russell brand. Perform work in a safe manner and actively engage others to do the same. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
