The Facilities Maintenance Technician - Handyman is responsible for carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, minor mechanical and electrical maintenance.

Qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs with repetitive movements
  • Ability to push and pull items
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to constantly during the shift
  • Ability to climb up and down ladders
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications required and SAP experience preferred

Persons employed as a Facilities Maintenance Technician is expected to:
Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping, collecting trash, etc.
+ Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
+ Maintain and inspect electrical circuitry
+ Install appliances and equipment
+ Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
