As a Factory Store Manager, you will

Qualifications

  • 3 years prior management or supervisory experience in a high-end retail sales environment, with a passion for product and retail
  • Retail experience must include advanced retail management practices: front end and back-end operations, merchandising, sales leadership, and people management
  • Must have open availability during Factory Store hours of operation
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be proficient with computers including Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with customers as well as other departments within the company
  • A highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Demonstrate strong conflict management and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve various customer matters

**What You'll Do**
+ Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team focused on customer success and growth
+ Design and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that align with business goals
+ Monitor key performance indicators and market data to identify new opportunities and guide pricing strategies
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and customers to support growth objectives
+ Drive channel development, sales forecasting, and territory planning activities
+ Partner with sales leadership and other business units to ensure alignment across the organization
+ Support team members in resolving customer issues and negotiating contracts
+ Attend trade shows and customer events to promote GCG and strengthen market presence
+ Manage budgets, oversee expenditures, and ensure compliance with financial targets
+ Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy and decision-making
**What You'll Bring**
+ 5-7 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or engineering
+ 5+ years of recent experience in **industrial automation distribution** strongly preferred
+ Proven success leading, coaching, and motivating a dispersed sales team
+ In-depth knowledge of sales principles, tactics, and market development strategies
+ Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite preferred)
+ Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence across levels
+ A clean driving record and the willingness to travel up to 50% for customer visits, events, and team development opportunities

Objectives

Ensure 100% customer satisfaction by providing stand-out service to Bullfrog Spas customers. Help to increase store sales and build customer loyalty. This is a full-time position. Will receive an hourly pay plus 3% commission per spa sold.

This role will support multiple store locations within the Illinois area depending on your location, this role will be based out of the Geneva, IL store. You will work with the manager to know which store you will be stationed at.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in-store customers with Sales of Spas
  • Assist in-store customers with supplies and chemicals
  • Receive and respond to customer phone calls and emails
  • Stock merchandise and maintain retail portion of warehouse
  • Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas
  • Spa payment and delivery coordination
  • Improve and execute follow up methods with new and existing customers
  • Product purchasing, stocking and inventory control
  • Assist with store marketing activities
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of showroom

Skills/Qualifications

At least one year of sales experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Organized self-starter. Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network. Professional customer service skills. Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers. Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings even if outside regular business hours, as required. Administrative organization skills, including Microsoft Office, Teams, Time Management, verbal communication, self-confidence. Promoting process improvement and decision making, attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.

Miscellaneous

Advise and assist the store manager(s) with special projects and events as needed. When deemed necessary, assist with any/all needs, and other duties and assigned. Must be willing and able to work weekends. Must be willing to work off-site events.
