- Maintain and assign the distribution set in Oracle per the payment request of the vendor invoice type
- Manage and update Vendor Master data in Oracle, W9 or W8 & ACH Vendor Form
- Vendor Master and Form 1096/1099 data coherence
- Respond to Vendor Payment query
- Follow up payment request rollover into AP Invoice workbench w/o aged Vendor invoice line items, and file payment request paperwork
- Maintain and Monitor Vendor AP weekly payment by type in OneDrive
- Monitor the USD daily cash report to detect fraudulent transactions
- Communicate with employees, vendors, dispute issues, and reconcile vendors' accounts to count spending periodically
- Multi-currency payment process to affiliates in USD & CAD
- GAIA application process for Latin America
- Backup AP month-end pre-close process
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience required
- Thorough understanding of debits and credits as they relate to A/P accounting
- Oracle experience is a plus
- Proficient business software skills (Microsoft Suite and Outlook)

The Division of Hospital Medicinein the Department of Medicine is seeking a Finance Specialist (Accountant 2) to join our team at Stanford Health Care. This position will report to the Finance Manager and perform a variety of professional accounting functions involving fiscal interpretation and analysis, reconciliations, and reviews of multiple accounts and transactions. Our Division has seen dramatic growth in the past few years, so we are seeking a candidate with the ability to multi-task and be extremely detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player. The candidate must also have excellent communication skills that allow high level interactions with a diverse academic and medical community.
Our Division is comprised of 130 faculty members (and growing) spanning 5 diverse clinical sections, across 3 facilities in the Bay Area (Stanford Health Care, Sequoia Hospital, and Tri-Valley). We are committed to excellence in clinical inpatient medicine, medical education, quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and a broad research portfolio ranging from COVID-19 clinical trials to informatics and AI.
**Duties include:**
