**About This Role:**
The Consultant will be responsible for monthly/quarterly financial reporting to include expense trending, forecasting, and variance analysis for Enterprise staff groups. Other duties to include weekly and/or monthly reporting, process troubleshooting, and ad hoc analysis. The position requires the ability to remain focused and multitask in a fast-paced environment, performing required duties within specified timelines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the position will be required to communicate regularly with multiple levels of authority within Enterprise groups, and across the company.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Ownership of Enterprise expense forecasting and variance analysis, which includes coordination with multiple business leaders.
+ Monthly/Quarterly review of financial results, including preparation of reporting packages for key business owners. Will require ability to understand and communicate key variances covering multiple areas.
+ Headcount Reporting/Tracking, including variance analysis, organization realignments & key productivity measurements.
+ Key drivers & initiatives tracking, which will require understanding of how these items impact the plan if delayed or not met.
+ Create and manage ad-hoc and recurring financial analysis/reporting to support the budget setting process, as well as tracking of results.

**A Day in the Life**
In this exciting role on the Global Functions Finance Team, you will be part of a best-in-class Finance team, responsible for the ongoing support of the Clinical, Medical and Regulatory Affairs (CMRA) function. This role contributes to strategically guiding CMRA to their business objectives through strategic FP&A activities: modeling, reporting, data analysis and more. This role resides at Operational Headquarters (OHQ) in the United States (US) and reports to the Global Functions Finance Director. This role will be onsite 4 days/week at OHQ.

Minimum Qualifications:

This role has a hybrid work arrangement, meaning not less than 3 days per week in office and we will consider offering relocation assistance to qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Expertise in and ensure compliance with government accounting regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS).
- Primary interface liaison with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) regarding Disclosure Statements, Business Systems, Incurred Cost Submissions, Forward Pricing Rate Submissions, and final voucher audits.
- Support organization design and build & mentor the government compliance and finance team, providing guidance, coaching, training, and fostering their professional growth.
- Develop and implement a CAS compliant organization for ACST.
- Develop and implement internal controls and processes to maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with government requirements.
- Collaborating with key business partners to develop and incorporate financial data into US Government contract deliverables.
- Stay updated with changes in government accounting regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and drive the workstream preparation and analysis of the annual Incurred Cost Proposals and unallowable reviews pertaining to final claimed cost.
- Drive the preparation of forward pricing rate proposals and quarterly rate monitorship report, including variance analysis and trending.
- Coordinate with the Business, any organization changes that could impact cost allocations and revisions to Disclosure Statements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide guidance on government accounting compliance and financial implications of government contracts, reinforcing awareness through training, preparing white papers and testing internal controls.

Pay Range for Multiple Locations or Remote Anywhere:
The annual base salary range for this position in MN & CO is $161,000 - $201,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
