Maximus is seeking a Finance Analyst to produce accurate project financial reporting results for submission to corporate and project management.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate project financial reporting results for submission to corporate finance and project management.
- Prepare labor and ODCs (Other Direct Charges) for client invoicing and cost reporting; ensure all costs on the invoice are accurate, appropriately supported and reconcile to the accounting system.
- Assist program control staff with ad hoc financial and cost analysis as requested by program management and corporate finance.
- Provide analytical support to program contract staff preparing corporate required reporting of accounts receivable and billed and unbilled reconciliations.
- Track financial status by monitoring variances from forecasts and investigate unusual variances for accuracy.
- Monitor fulfillment expenses closely against forecast assumptions.
- Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy, provide appropriate codes and monitor payment status.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
- 3-5 years of related experience required.
Job-Specific Minimum Requirements :
- Must have direct billing/invoice adjustments and financial reporting experience.
- Must have experience reviewing month-end accruals.
- Must have forecasting and revenue recognition experience.
- Experience tracking financial status and monitoring variances is required.
- Must possess strong proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, and Word.
- Work requires considerable judgment and initiative.

Due to a recent promotion, Royal Credit Union is searching for our next Vice President of Finance ! In this role, youll lead high-performing Finance and Accounting teams , shape financial strategy , and collaborate with executive leadership to optimize performance and support Royals mission .
What Youll Do:
The Vice President of Finance will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the Finance and Accounting Teams. This role is responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and optimizing financial performance across all business units to support the credit union's mission and goals. The VP - Finance will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive the company's financial performance and ensure the accuracy of financial records. They will lead the Finance and Accounting teams, fostering collaboration and guiding team members to achieve professional and organizational goals.

Our Commitment To You:
- Compensation: 189,000 - 225,000/year annual salary + eligibility to earn a corporate bonus based on the overall performance of the credit union (candidates with significant related experience may be higher).

Whats Needed For This Position:
- Required:
- Three years of supervisory experience
- Must be bondable, have a valid drivers license, and an insured vehicle
- Strongly preferred:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Ten years of experience in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Preferred:
- Accounting or finance experience in a financial institution
- Experience evaluating mergers and acquisitions
- Strategic leadership experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
- Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Strategic thinker with experience in asset liability management, treasury operations, and risk mitigation
- Skilled in budgeting, variance analysis, and presenting financial insights to executive leadership and boards
- Technologically adept with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a readiness to adopt new digital tools
Work Schedule:
- This is a full-time, exempt level position. Hours will generally be Monday through Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend hours, as needed.
Training:
- Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am - 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out of town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.

Position overview:

The role is based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where the finance team is located, with regular travel to our plant in Reidsville, North Carolina to ensure alignment with operations and provide hands-on financial leadership at the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Serve as the financial leader within the local management team in the USA, providing strategic guidance based on financial insights. Explain financial results to non-financial stakeholders and proactively propose actions to drive business performance. Monitor and steer company performance through data-driven KPIs and dashboards.
- Team Management: Lead, manage, and coach the local Finance and IT departments (10 people). Ensure all activitiessuch as reporting, compliance, and analysisare executed in line with group practices and local requirements. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the full spectrum of financial operations, including accounting, controlling, treasury, taxes, and insurance. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements. Maintain strong relationships with auditors and other external stakeholders.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes. Deliver timely and accurate financial reports in accordance with Group GAAP, and translate financial data into actionable strategies to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- IT & Digital Alignment: Ensure the IT infrastructure evolves in alignment with business and finance needs. Leverage technology and data dashboards to improve efficiency, support business processes, and strengthen decision-making.
- International Collaboration: Align local operations with global standards. Actively participate in the international finance team, contribute to process improvements, and ensure successful implementation of global systems.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process and systems optimization. Champion digital tools and data-driven approaches to streamline finance workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment. Broad understanding of all finance functions, with experience working in international settingscollaborating with both HQ and local plant teams within matrix reporting structures.
- Education & Certification: Masters degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems. Solid generalist expertise across all areas of finance, including reporting, controlling, planning, and compliance.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Able to clearly explain complex financial information to non-financial audiences and provide actionable strategic insights to the local management team.
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop finance teams. Proven success in aligning team output with both local requirements and global standards.
- Process & System Improvement: Track record of identifying and implementing process enhancements in financial operations and systems. Able to drive efficiency and accuracy through digital tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is considered an asset.

The Director of Finance/Market Chief Financial Officer is a senior member of the market's management teams participating in the financial and functional decision-making process necessary for the success of our mission. The individual will direct a team responsible for the overall financial planning and analysis of the region's care delivery operations, in conjunction with the system Director of finance planning and analysis. The director will participate in various organizational and community meetings to present or discuss the financial status of the multiple medical campuses within their respective region.
