The role demands hands-on involvement, with the Finance Director deeply involved in daily financial and accounting activities. This organization operates on a 4-day work week, Monday-Thursday. Responsibilities Oversee financial management for both entities, including budgeting, analysis, and cash management. Oversee organizational compliance, organizational policies, and tax requirements. Oversee and finalize the annual budget and mid-year forecasting processes. Review/report on monthly financial results, including variance analyses and cash forecasts. Risk management by analyzing liabilities and investments, and deciding on investment strategies. Ensure appropriate cash flow for operations and oversee fundraising plans and capital structure. Supervise finance personnel and manage vendor relationships. Oversee accounting functions, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. Provide oversight for the annual audit process and tax return preparation. Requirements MBA/CPA or equivalent experience. 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years in financial leadership in political or nonprofit organizations. Proven experience with GAAP compliance and financial data quality. Experience with 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) nonprofit fund accounting required; PAC experience is a plus. Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Administrator to support our Finance and Accounting departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing and organizing financial documentation, managing the secure flow of paperwork between departments and lenders, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of vehicle deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Director and Accounting Office with timely deal processing
  • Ensure proper document flow between the Finance Department and Business Office
  • Process daily deals and prepare related management reports
  • Package and distribute documents to DMV and financial institutions
  • Handle all documentation related to vehicle sales, including contracts and incentive forms
  • Send and receive documents via fax, email, and mail as needed
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local finance-related regulations
  • Organize, retrieve, and archive documents, both electronically and in hard copy
  • Maintain accurate vehicle title, lien, tax, and insurance documentation
  • Verify trade payoffs and deposits, and coordinate with insurance agents

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Offer aftermarket products to customers (service contracts, gap, tire and wheel, roadside assistance, paint & fabric protection, etc.)
  • Process paperwork for each deal including finance contracts, state and federal forms, corporate forms, etc.
  • Prep deals prior to delivery date. Contact customer prior to deliver to obtain necessary documentation for delivery.
  • Verify accuracy of contracts with verified bank approvals and all required documents.
  • Attend training sessions and weekly conference calls
  • Return all customer phone calls and emails each day before going home.
  • Understand lender programs, contracts and forms and how to complete them.

Position Summary:

The Finance Director will partner, collaborate and provide support on financial and accounting matters for the region. This person will work with the finance and accounting departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as well as compliance with company policies. This position will work closely with business units and projects to ensure that operational financial data is readily available to facilitate the decision making and reporting process. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 2 or more accountants who support project teams and region finance and accounting needs
  • Work with the annual budget process and compilation of information for the annual business plan, as well as reviewing overhead budget-to-actual variances with business unit/department leaders
  • Understand the scope and areas of work included within the construction contracts being executed by the region in order to work with the Operations and Finance teams on day-to-day issues
  • Promote a service oriented, customer friendly approach to our accounting and finance operations and facilitate timely resolution of issues and questions within the region, including project staff
  • Prepare business unit and regional financial statements, budgets, volume and gross profit projections and other financial analysis and forecasts
  • Proactively monitor and report on project performance, financial projections, regional cash position, costs and percentage of completion, including following up with customer contacts
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance Group on tax, license and compliance issues
  • Work with joint venture partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting for joint ventures projects
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5 years of accounting experience, with at least three years in the construction industry
  • Strong financial acumen, analysis abilities, communication skills and the confidence to collaborate and build relationships with a variety of staff at all levels
  • General understanding of construction insurance, bonding requirements, lien laws and sales taxes for contractors
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized and able to work independently
