The Senior Financial Analyst will assist with the reporting process for regional in-process developments and the underwriting, financial analysis, and due diligence functions associated with the acquisition, development, and/or re-development of shopping centers. These responsibilities ensure that Regency is making well-informed investment decisions based on all relevant facts and circumstances.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Maintaining financial models for in-process developments and redevelopments, which aid in forecasting, project management and corporate reporting.
- Underwriting prospective developments, acquisitions, and redevelopments.
- Preparation of memoranda on projects to be submitted for approval to Real Estate Committee, Investment Committee, or the Board of Directors.
- Assisting with due diligence functions related to new investments (including developments, redevelopments, acquisitions, buyout of co-investment partnerships, et al) and dispositions.
- Preparation of quarterly asset review books for in-process developments and redevelopments.
- Performing financial and credit analysis on potential tenants and vendors.
- Preparing abstracts for anchor tenant leases, PSAs, and Joint Venture Agreements.

Are You Qualified?
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Two (2) to five (5) years of relevant professional experience
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Solid foundation in retail real estate fundamentals, including (but not limited to):
- Ability to understand and calculate standard return metrics such as yield, profit margin, IRR, etc.
- Ability to read and understand a lease
- Ability to understand shopping center operational metrics and how to calculate - such as percentage rent, additional rent, management fees, etc.
- Advanced level proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office Programs including Word, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook
