**Position Summary**
The Sr Analyst FP&A (Financial Analytics and Reporting) plays a critical role in transforming how we use data to drive smart, strategic decisions across the organization. This role is ideal for someone who blends technical skill with business curiosity, and is excited by the opportunity to improve processes, automate reporting, and translate insights into action. You'll be partnering closely with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Medical Management, Vendor Management and other teams to deliver insights that matter.
**Job description**
This Senior Analyst FP&A role blends technical skill, business understanding, and creative problem-solving. The will lead efforts in pulling and connecting data, building dashboards, identifying trends, and telling clear stories with insights. You'll work with tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel-and you'll collaborate with stakeholders who rely on you to make data approachable, trustworthy, and valuable.

**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Analyze data trends and patterns to identify insights, performance drivers, and opportunities for improvement.
+ Support the design, development, and maintenance of reporting solutions that guide key decisions.

+ Translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and reporting specifications.
+ Create and automate recurring reports using SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and Excel.

+ Engage in data audits, workflow validations, and resolution of data quality issues.
+ Build relationships with internal stakeholders across departments including Compliance, Medical Management, and Vendor Operations.
+ Act as a partner in innovation-exploring tools like AI, predictive analytics, and automation platforms (e.g., Nadia, Artey) to enhance reporting impact.
+ Escalate issues proactively and work collaboratively to mitigate risks and ensure timely delivery.
+ Support change management efforts and champion a culture of continuous improvement.
**What You Bring**
+ Advanced SQL skills and the ability to connect data across multiple sources
+ Experience building interactive dashboards and visuals using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
+ Strong analytical thinking with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
+ A strong grasp of healthcare or financial metrics and what drives cost
+ Ability to validate, QA, and audit data for accuracy and consistency
+ Experience supporting or enabling self-service analytics solutions
+ Adaptability and learning agility in fast-paced environments

**Required Qualifications**
+ 4+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, or automation roles, including financial reporting.
+ 4+ years of experience in financial acumen and data analytics work.
+ 4+ years experience working with SQL, Power BI and Excel.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience in health insurance, managed care, or the pharmaceutical industry.
+ Project management experience or equivalent work experience.
**Education**
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $112,200.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

**Financial Senior Data Analyst**
**Position Summary:**
Do you have a passion for data analysis and process optimization? At CVS Health you can put your skills and interests to work by joining our Market Event Adjustments group. An individual who joins our team will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and quantifying the impact of market events on Rebate guarantees. The team's primary goal is to ensure contractual adjustments are executed to align with market event impacts.
**The Financial Senior Data** **Analyst** **will:**
· Work under the guidance of Sr. Manager or Manager for evaluating potential financial impact of market event adjustments using existing models.
· Access data via Excel and tools such as SQL/ SAS and use market event adjustment models to model projected rebate guarantee impact analysis.
· Coordinate the efforts across company teams to ensure contractual adjustments are executed to align with market event impacts.
· Provide consultative support to internal stakeholders on
financial guarantee analysis.
· This role will be supporting the client specific analyses and discussions and provide consultative support on additional ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
· This individual will be responsible on interacting with external stakeholders and clients directly and can articulate the results of the analysis in a clear, concise manner and meeting the expected deadlines of requested analysis for this client.
**Education**
· Bachelor's degree required.
· Degree related to finance, mathematics, operations, statistics, actuarial science, data science, economics or other data related fields preferred. 
**Required Qualifications**
· 2 + years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing or process improvement role or equivalent combination of professional experience and education
· OR
· 1+ years professional experience in data analytics, finance, pricing, or process improvement role including 1+ year working with PBM data or PBM financial analysis.
**Preferred Qualifications**
· Experience in Microsoft Excel-based analysis and SQL
· Strong organizational, multi-tasking and critical thinking skill sets are required.
· Ability to story tell the findings in clear, concise way when articulating the findings of the analysis to sales, underwriting and other stakeholders.
· Prior experience or knowledge of PBM industry or pharmaceuticals is preferred.
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines and competing priorities.
· Prior experience working across many different groups within an organization.
· Prior experience designing, implementing, and optimizing new business processes.
· Strong presentation and communication skills with experience presenting to various business groups.
· Ability to interact with others in a collegial and professional manner and help foster teamwork and knowledge sharing to complete key tasks.
· Aptitude to communicate complex findings and conclusions in an easy-to-understand way.
