Job Description
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager is a key member of the Trace Systems team and plays a critical role in supporting the development and interpretation of financial assessments for Trace Systems to include financial management, direction, financial administration, and quality assurance. This role operates under the guidance of the CFO and collaborates across the fiancé and accounting team.
As an individual contributor, the FP&A Manager will be involved in supporting the development of budgets and forecasts, as well as ongoing performance analytics and management reporting. The FP&A Manager is accountable for ensuring all analyses are completed accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring risks are addressed and/or raised to leadership for consideration.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting & Performance Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis by gathering data, running reports, and identifying financial risks and trends. Collaborate on monthly close processes and prepare reports for leadership decision-making.
Financial Evaluation & Strategic Investments: Help build financial models (e.g., cash flow, etc.) to evaluate new initiatives and acquisitions. Track value realization and collaboration on investment cases and strategic business decisions.
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders. Clearly communicate complex financial data to inform strategy and decision-making.

A minimum of a TS security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Possess a current Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from the Institute of Management Accountants.
A bachelor's degree in accounting, financial analysis, or seven years of experience in a related technical field Minimum three (3) years Financial Planning & Analysis experience or directly related business experience required.
Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) within the DoD industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial management, including DCAA requirements and practices.
Possess a minimum of five years of financial experience (within the last ten years) managing DoD Service-specific and/or Joint-Service projects including intelligence or special operations support elements.
Possess a minimum of five years of technical analysis experience managing a diverse client base.
Hands-on experience with advanced Excel functions (e.g. Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, charts, and complex formulas) to efficiently clean, manipulate and analyze data for actionable insights preferred.
Intellectually curious with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights preferred.

The **Financial Analyst** will provide essential financial support to the site finance team and cross-functional operational leaders. This role contributes to the accuracy of financial reporting by assisting in the month-end close process, managing purchase orders (POs), accounts payable (AP), and fixed assets, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and other key planning activities. The analyst will also participate in ad hoc financial analysis and help maintain strong internal controls.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Participate in the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, and cost allocations.
+ Assist in the development of the operating plan and financial forecasts by gathering and managing departmental spending inputs.
+ Prepare assigned balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
+ Manage and reconcile assigned accounts, including prepaid expenses, freight, and other operating accounts.
+ Support capital project closeouts and related fixed asset activities within the ERP system.
+ Collaborate with department managers and finance leadership to analyze and monitor departmental spending.
+ Represent the finance function on cross-functional teams, supporting both operational and business objectives.
+ Assist with inventory-related activities, including cycle counts and audit readiness.
+ Serve as a point of contact for resolving PO and AP issues at the site level.
+ Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required.
+ 3 or more years of relevant experience in a financial analyst or accounting role.
+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; advanced Excel skills preferred.
+ Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, SAP and SharePoint is a plus.
+ Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
+ Familiarity with month-end closing processes, account reconciliations, budgeting, and forecasting.
+ Demonstrated understanding of internal controls and financial best practices.

The Financial Analyst, Pricing supports the business development and operations community in pursuit of competitive Requests for Proposal (RFP) new and rebid business; provides full financial support competitive bids. This Analyst will directly support Allied Universal's Southeast and Florida regions, and will be located near one of our branch offices within those regions.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Maintain financial models for pricing bids and supply financial information to leadership, allowing them to make business decisions about pricing for clients and prospects
+ Complete profitability audits of large contracts as they relate to contract compliance; provide expert recommendations during rebid scenarios
+ Provide financial analysis for all new and incremental business
+ Prepare company financial performance metrics and ratios for RFP bid packages
+ Support sales and operations by attending virtual presentations as the financial expert to assist in the pursuit of new opportunities and retention of current client base
+ Provide financial support to business development and operations teams regarding the company's rate negotiation process
+ Communicate efficiently and effectively with the regional teams while balancing time to analyze data and contracts
+ Provide analytical support for forward-looking financial and business-related projects
+ Create financial presentations including explanation of variances and key issues
+ Collect, analyze and report accurate and timely data to provide recommendations on pricing
+ Prepare ad hoc analysis and work on special projects as they arise
**QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
+ Minimum of two (2) years of related work experience developing financial metrics, reviewing financial statements, or financial models
+ Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
+ Experience with dashboarding applications such as DOMO or Tableau
+ Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
+ Intermediate to advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
+ Outstanding oral and written communication skills
+ Ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
+ Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Contract pricing experience

**Position Summary:**
The Senior Financial Analyst will provide comprehensive financial management and analysis support to United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and execution tracking in support of classified and unclassified operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with extensive knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems, processes, and regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Perform financial analysis and support for Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
+ Assist in the formulation, justification, and execution of USSOCOM's budget and financial programs.
+ Conduct cost-benefit and variance analysis to support program decisions.
+ Track commitments, obligations, and expenditures using DoD financial systems such as GFEBS, DEAMS, and PBES.
+ Develop, prepare, and present financial reports and briefings to leadership.
+ Collaborate with program managers, acquisition teams, and logistics personnel to ensure alignment of financial strategies with mission objectives.
+ Support audit readiness and compliance with DoD financial management regulations (e.g., FMR Vol. 2A, 2B, etc.).
+ Monitor and forecast budget performance across multiple appropriations (O&M, RDT&E, Procurement, etc.).
+ Provide recommendations for reprogramming or adjustments to financial plans.
+ Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial policy changes and provide expert interpretation to stakeholders.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree or 4 years of additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree.
+ At least 8 years of progressive experience in DoD financial management.
+ Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
+ Strong knowledge of DoD financial systems, such as GFEBS, DEAMS, or PBES.
+ In-depth understanding of the DoD PPBE process.
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM) or DoD Financial Management Certification (Level II or III).
+ Prior experience supporting USSOCOM or other Combatant Commands.
+ Familiarity with Special Operations Forces (SOF) budgeting and funding structures.
**Working Conditions:**
