Members of the team apply aspects of electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, systems engineering, and computer and data science to perform analysis under the guidance of the SIGINT Flight Team Lead and in close collaboration with one another.
Members of the team also prepare technical and programmatic briefings and interface with Government Customers on a frequent and ongoing basis.
Occasional short-term and extended travel to CONUS and OCONUS government and contractor locations required.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Serve as one of the government's trusted technical advisors for SIGINT mission systems modeling and analysis in areas from spacecraft bus and payload to command and control, mission management, and mission processing systems.
+ Assist the government in identifying mission needs and opportunities in developing concepts of operations and optimization strategies, in assessing baseline change impacts, and in developing requirements, to influence current and future operations and acquisition efforts.
+ Perform technical analysis using COTS tools (e.g. STK) as well as use and develop in-house tools using, for example, Python, to develop recommendations for the government on topics such as orbit design and modification, payload resource allocation, and capacity requirements for current mission systems and future system acquisitions.
+ Play a key role in transitioning and integrating new systems into operations, working closely with government mission customers to ensure new capabilities are fully leveraged by operations. This role includes providing on-site training and demonstrations to operations personnel (travel required).
+ Assess integration activities in the context of cross-systems dependencies (technical, resource, and schedule) and present unbiased analysis-based findings and recommendations to government managers.
+ Provide "ground truth" technical assessments of project or system reviews, milestones, and/or decision gates; identify risks, issues, opportunities, mitigations; represent the government customer's interests with other stakeholders.
+ Support government requests for systems engineering and integration studies, process analysis and design, project management assessments, etc.; provide analysis, recommendations, and take necessary actions needed to follow through on accepted recommendations.
+ Contribute to the development or assessment of system Concept of Operations, Requirements Documents, Test Plans, Contract Statements of Work, Systems Engineering Plans, as well as the "staff work" needs of the government (e.g., action items, weekly reports, etc.), including support to government acquisitions and source selections.
+ Collaborate proactively with government personnel and other contractors (often across multiple sites, time zones, and organizational levels) to provide unbiased analysis and recommendations on courses of actions to address risks/issues or approaches to exploit an opportunity.

They may also be appointed as a Crew Chief to a specific aircraft, in charge of its legal compliance, inspection status, and maintenance forecasting.
In conjunction with supervisory duties, they will perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, and launch/recovery support. Responsible for flying on corporate aircraft during international travel, they will provide technical expertise during in-flight and AOG situations along with tending to the comfort and safety needs of passengers to include serving food and beverages. While conducting appropriate cabin management practices, the Flight Engineer will have a solid understanding of on-board communication systems to include satellite TV, internet, and Iridium phone systems. The Sr. Flight Engineer will be a dynamic role to ensure the utmost quality criteria of company aircraft as described below, but not limited to:
Responsibilities
+ Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, inspections, engine runs and taxi operations that conform to the standards established by the Company, regulations, and industry best practices.
+ Availability to work nights, weekends, or flexible hours as determined by flight schedule (24/7 Operation).
+ Ability to optimize aircraft dispatch reliability and operational availability through the role of Flight Engineer during international travel.
+ Act as passenger service provider and safety coordinator. Requires training in evacuation procedures, medical aid, passenger service, and food handling procedures.
+ Ensure cabin configuration and associated management functions are performed in accordance with Departmental policies and procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs).
+ Demonstrate proficiency in the use of all onboard passenger service equipment, to include DVD player, SatCom, Aircell, BBML, and Airshow systems and applications.
+ Oversee that work performed by contract maintenance facilities is accomplished and properly documented in accordance with FAA and AbbVie department requirements.
+ Provide active participation in the Department Safety Management System (SMS) and involvement in obtaining bi-annual certification through IS-BAO (International Standard- Business Aircraft Operations).
+ Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory; including ordering, shipping and receiving.
+ Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in time-sensitive situations.
+ Have thorough understanding of avionics/electrical/computer systems.
+ Provide a professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills with effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
+ Proficiency with the use of technology and computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office and related business applications i.e. CMP/AVTRAK.
+ Pursue on-going technical training and remain cognizant of industry advancements through conferences and seminars.

Job Description
The Satellite Flight-Operations Engineer will engage in a variety of tasks and activities related to satellite operations. Responsibilities may include designing, developing, and simulating the overall Satellite LEOP plan; developing Spacecraft In-Orbit Operations Procedures and overseeing their execution and associated trainings; developing Satellite Operation Manuals and test procedures; and supporting In-Orbit Test, anomaly resolution, and FDIR. Additionally, the engineer will support the Satellite Simulator Operation and script development.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct trade-off studies to design, develop, and simulate the overall Satellite LEOP plan.
+ Develop Spacecraft In-Orbit Operations Procedures and oversee their execution and associated trainings.
+ Develop Satellite Operation Manuals and test procedures, overseeing their execution and associated trainings.
+ Create Verification & Validation Matrices for operations procedures related to on-orbit commissioning, routine, and contingency operations.
+ Support In-Orbit Test (IOT), anomaly resolution, and FDIR.
+ Assist in Satellite Simulator Operation and script development.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering in a relevant field.
+ At least 10 years of relevant practical experience.
+ Previous experience with LEO/MEO satellite systems.
+ Experience with automated satellite operations, especially design and IOT.
+ Systems Engineering experience in space and ground segment design, specification, and integration.
+ Knowledge of Flight Software role in operations, Satellite Database Operations concept, and telemetry structure concepts.
+ Proficiency in creating or using models and/or simulation software.
+ Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
+ Understanding of AG1's Systems Tool Kit (STK).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in Constellation Operations.
+ Experience in the development and testing of new automated operations.
+ Knowledge of MS Excel for engineering analyses.
+ Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS, Windchill, or Jama.
+ Ability to work efficiently with little to no supervision.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of French will be considered favorably.

This is a remote opportunity with 25% travel, allowing flexibility while contributing to a satellite constellation project. The role offers the chance to be part of a team with over 400 successful missions.

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $100.00/hr.
