ALL ABOUT GENERAL MERCHANDISE

Experts of operations, process and efficiency who enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is set, in-stock, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store. This team leads Food & Beverage and Food Service, providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pick, pack and ship fulfillment work.

  • Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
  • Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory management, and process efficiency and improvement
  • Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

As a General Merchandise Expert, no two days are ever the same, but a typical day will most likely include the following responsibilities:
  • Create a welcoming experience by authentically greeting all guests
  • Observe to quickly understand whether a guest needs assistance or wants to interact. Follow body language and verbal clues to tailor your approach
  • Engage with guests in a genuine way, which include asking questions to better understand their specific needs
  • Be knowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience
  • Thank the guest in a genuine way and let them know we're happy they chose to shop at Target
  • Be knowledgeable of GM areas to ensure sales floor is zoned, in stock and accurately signed and priced for guests
  • Acknowledge guests as you complete workload with minimal guest disruption; partner with leadership to prioritize daily workload based on business and guest needs
  • Ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for GM categories and be knowledgeable of products in the ad
  • Execute inbound, replenishment, backroom and signing processes for GM areas
  • Execute processes including pricing, presentation sets, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader for all areas
  • Understand how operational procedures, like planogram (POG) ties, product capacities and salesfloor quantities impact shortage, profitability, in store replenishment and inventory accuracy
  • Operate power equipment only if certified
  • Follow processes accurately with attention to detail, monitor own progress
  • Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • Work in a safe manner at all times to benefit yourself and others; identify and correct hazards; comply with all safety policies and best practices
  • Support guest services such as back-up cashier, and digital fulfillment processes and maintain compliance culture while executing those duties, such as federal, state, and local adult beverage laws
  • All other duties based on business needs

    Our client, a nationwide provider of high-quality food products has an immediate opening for an experienced Electro-Maintenance Mechanic, to join their winning team in Collingswood.

    Our candidate of choice will have knowledge of retail meat cuts and product specifications, food safety and quality training, Microsoft Office, basic computer literacy and strong written and verbal communication skills. Completion of a meat cutting apprenticeship with Journeymen experience is desired. Experience in quality assurance, and food safety management systems, meat and poultry HACCP and SQF Practitioner.

    KEY REQUIREMENTS:

    • Responsible for overseeing implementation of the companys food safety and quality management system to assure food product integrity and compliance with specifications, SQF, GMPs, HACCP, USDA regulatory and customer standards.
    • Liaison with the USDA, maintenance, production, plant management and contracted service providers.
    • Mentors and coaches plant personnel as a form of training and continuous improvement.
    • Will be directly involved with corrective action and preventive measure activities.
    • Will play a significant role in new product development, validation and implementation.
    • Complete projects for progression or as assigned by the QA Director with minimal supervision.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues related to food safety and quality.
    • Oversee pre-operational sanitation inspection.
    • Complete and develop reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point).
    • Initiate USDA Sketch approvals involving animal production and product quality claims.
    • Delegate tasks to QA Techs and follow-up to ensure that they have been properly completed.
    • Manage QA Tech scheduling including personal time off and unscheduled absences.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Knowledge of retail meat cuts and product specifications, food safety and quality training
    • Supervisory experience (minimum 5 yrs.)
    • Basic computer literacy
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience in quality assurance, and food safety management systems, meat and poultry HACCP and SQF Practitioner certification is desired.

    The Football Defensive Quality Control Coach will analyze game film, enter each play's information data, evaluate recruiting prospect film, support the coaching staff with play drawings and playbook creation. Assist on-field at workouts and practices by filming, setting up equipment, charting play information, and tracking statistics in addition to other projects as assigned by the coaching staff.

    Responsibilities
    + Prepare, breakdown, and analyze video from practices, games and opponents games for review by the head coach, coordinators, assistant coaches and student-athletes.
    + Study each opponent's game plan and schemes, analyze data and chart tendencies to facilitate the planning and execution of practice and game preparation.
    + Identify pregame and in game opponent's personnel assignments.
    + Assist with game day call sheet with the Defensive Coordinators
    + Identify prospective student-athletes. Research and prepare of scouting reports for recruitment of potential student athletes. Responsible for grading and scouting video of potential student-athletes.
    + Uses independent discretion and judgment as to recommend game strategies and position details during planning/preparation and execution of practice sessions and competitive play.
    Qualifications
    A Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years of experience coaching football, preferably at the collegiate level required. Successful experience as a graduate student or intern is acceptable for up to one year of the required experience. Related coaching experience at the professional level can be substituted for the degree requirements. The ability to motivate recruits, student-athletes, and alumni to support the program enthusiastically. Working knowledge and compliance of NCAA/Ivy League policies and procedures. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel with the team or when recruiting as required. Valid driver's license required.

    **Position Summary** **:**
    The Quality Control Inspector I is responsible for performing quality inspections and package testing on in-process materials and finished products. This effort includes, but is not limited to, ensuring all policies and procedures comply with applicable FDA, state, OSHA, AATB, and ISO regulations and standards. This individual works with every department to ensure the quality of the products is up to company standards.
    **Essential Functions** **:**
    + Performs inspections of raw materials, components, and assemblies for conformance to specifications
    + Adheres to all verbal and/or written instructions such as detailed drawings, production traveler, work instruction, and process specifications at the direction of supervisor in completing a variety of inspection tasks
    + Verifies inspection equipment, machinery and tools used are calibrated per company policy
    + Documents non-conformance when found
    + Brings problems/issues to attention of Quality Assurance Management and area Supervision
    + Works efficiently to achieve targeted goals as set by the production schedule
    + Performs other duties as assigned, to maintain efficiency throughout the company

    + Performs final documentation review and release of DHR files
