JOB SUMMARY:
The primary responsibilities are but not limited to, maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock, preparing shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, wrapping, staging, loading, and securing product, as well as other assigned duties.

- Visual quality control of products
- Handle UPS & FedEx requests and deliveries
- Asist with inventory

Qualifications:
- At least two years of warehouse/production experience
- At least two years of experience on sit-down forklift
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to work with others and take direction well
- Ability to work the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
- Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and twist on a daily basis
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended period of time on a daily basis

DS Containers in Batavia, IL makes aerosol cans for a variety of industries. Our high speed production lines produce palletized, shrink wrapped pallets of cans. We need safe, efficient, experienced drivers to ticket these pallets, remove them from the lines, stage them, load them onto semi trailers to be moved to shipping. Our drivers also use their forklift to dump scrap and supply the line with materials. 90% of the job is on the forklift.
$23-$5/hr
The hours are: Monday or Tuesday 12 hour shift 7pm-7am, Wednesday 6 hour shift and then Thursday and Friday or Saturday Sunday 12hr shift - 7pm - 7am. Weekends required (alternating shift, switches each week.)

Position Overview:
The Forklift Driver is responsible for loading, unloading, packing, and unpacking materials. Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments and relocate items within the warehouse when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - include but are not limited to the following:
- Safely and efficiently use material handling equipment (Forklift) to unload, load, pull, or move products and supplies throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily equipment checks prior to the beginning of an assigned shift, including checking the battery, brakes, lift hook controls, and fire extinguisher.
- Properly count, wrap, and tag items for receipt and shipment, assuring the accuracy of shipping & receiving.

- Safely transports finished goods to freezer, cooler, and dry rack locations.
