As a Supply Chain Proposal Analyst on the Centralized Proposal Team you will work closely with the Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) team and gain valuable insights into other supply chain functions at Raytheon. **Detailed Description**
Incumbents apply in-depth knowledge in a specific area of specialization. Work is performed within established professional standards and practices. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors and a considerable degree of judgement. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may have a negative impact on the division's/department's operations, schedules, and/or performance goals. Builds internal and external relationships, such as relationships with key suppliers, customers and internal service.
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
+ Prepares material pricing independently for new business opportunities (bids) including generation of Bill of Material, cost analysis, negotiation with suppliers, collaboration with Commodity Management and presentation to team leaders and managers.
+ Prepares RFQ packages for various BTP commodities including sheet metal fabrication, cable assemblies, machining, casting and injection molding and negotiate with suppliers
+ Estimating BTP part costs based upon most efficient manufacturing methods
+ Identify Supply chain gaps for new commodities discovered during new bid process and work with CM team to fill those gaps
+ Works closely with commodity management, management, sourcing teams, engineering teams, and financial cost engineers.

+ Participate in VAVE activities to reduce cost and mitigate risks in SC

+ We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $101,500 to $86,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 121,700 to 211,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
+ Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
