    The Opportunity

    Associate Attorneys in our Employment Single Action Department are expected to take significant responsibility in managing cases, while honing their skills through mentorship by our award-winning attorneys. As an Associate, you will be part of a team focused on retaliation and harassment, unpaid wages, leaves of absence, and wrongful termination single action cases. Our team fights and wins some of the largest workplace settlements and verdicts achievable.

    Accountable for
    Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
    Take and run depositions and meet and confers.
    Conduct ADR mediations and negotiations.
    Develop and deliver arguments and represent clients in employment matters.

    Qualifications
    Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
    At least two years of experience specializing in employment litigation.
    Superior analytical and legal research skills.
    Ability to think creatively and strategically.
    Exceptional organizational skills, including time management.
    Ability to type 40 wpm.

    Compensation
    $85,000 - $165,000 depending on experience

    **POSITION SUMMARY:**
    The Employment Specialist, Workforce Inclusion will provide career assessments, training, resources, and guidance in identifying employment opportunities, post-secondary education, paid internships, and job opportunities for people with disabilities.
    **TYPICAL DUTIES:**
    1. *Develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with local agencies, schools, businesses, service agencies, and other organizations, as appropriate
    2. *Administer and implement career assessments and coordinate support with providers to provide holistic and comprehensive case management
    3. *Develop systematic work experience and community engagement opportunities
    4. *Identify and facilitate training to support gaining skills needed for pre-employment and/or post-employment
    5. *Refer eligible clients to appropriate community resources
    6. Performs duties and special projects as assigned

    **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:**
    -Ability to identify and match jobs and other opportunities to the individual's needs and interests

    -Demonstrate ability to apply critical thinking to identify solutions to problems
    -Demonstrate basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and ratios

    **EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:**
