The Role

Job Description
This position is responsible for providing data-driven geographic information solutions. The role merges geospatial and cartographic skills to deliver sustainable geospatial solutions to customers worldwide. The GIS Analyst is tasked with acquiring, analyzing, compiling, evaluating, and reviewing geospatial data for use in standard and non-standard products and data holdings to support project requirements. The successful candidate will ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information produced in-house or in cooperation with contractors and/or suppliers for national, military, and civil partners and/or clients.
Responsibilities
+ Acquire and analyze geospatial data for various products and data holdings.
+ Compile, evaluate, and review geospatial data to meet project requirements.
+ Attribute, exploit, extract, format, manipulate, position, and symbolize geospatial information.
+ Ensure the quality, accuracy, and currency of geospatial information produced.
+ Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to produce geospatial information.
Essential Skills
+ Working knowledge of ESRI GIS software - ArcGIS or ArcMap.
+ Experience extracting, manipulating, and utilizing GIS data.
+ Completion of GIS college classes or certifications.
+ Familiarity with routine office software for electronic mail, spreadsheets, and word processing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcPro.
+ Understanding of topology in a GIS context.
Work Environment
The role requires working with cutting-edge geospatial technologies and software, including ESRI's ArcGIS and ArcMap. Pay and Benefits
