The Role

Lead in the team effort to design, develop, code, test and debug new complex software or significant enhancements to existing complex software. Lead review of input for documentation of new or existing software. Apply existing and introduce new and approved technologies to develop solutions. Lead others in the application of principles, theories and concepts and use of methodologies, tools, documentation processes and test procedures to complete projects. May lead team to select and manage vendor.

The Main Responsibilities

• Works with the Technical Director, Technical Architect, App/Web Developer, Database Administrator, System Administrator, Project Management, Account Management and Creative to create best-in-class websites and applications, completing all requirements and meeting usability expectations

• Develops and/or maintains a sustainable front-end framework and coordinates with other team members

• Partners with Technology personnel to develop creative marketing technology solutions in support of meeting client expectations

• Estimates timeline for assigned projects and ensures that work is completed with the estimate given

• Provides leadership in the development and implementation of short- and long-term technology plans and related policies and procedures

• Takes a lead role in establishing and implementing standards that will facilitate a quality IT infrastructure all clients

What We look for in a Candidate

• 8+ years professional experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience

• 6+ years professional experience with a Master's Degree or equivalent education and experience

• 2+ years using ArcGIS desktop products like ArcGis Pro & ArcMap (Esri product)

• Ability to code in Python or Java using the arcpy library tools is highly desirable.

• Some experience in development using Java/ Web is desirable (no UI work, backend)

• Manage ArcGIS installation, upgrades and administration of ArcGIS portal and server

• Basic understanding of ArcGIS types like SDO_GEOMETRY and ST_GEOMETRY

• Able to use and create tools and scripts for geo processing

• Experience in Golang preferred

• Co-ordinate the ArcGIS licensing needs

• Handle tickets related to 3GIS

• Coordinate deployments

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

A client of Insight Global is seeking a CWK GIS Analyst I. This position will be responsible for using Spire's Geographical Information System to support the organization as a part of Operation Services.
Duties and Responsibilities
Completes engineering designs and cost estimates using GIS for all types of main and service work
Collects construction activity "as-built", using mobile CPS collection device in the filed for creating permanent asset records
Editing of map features and its correlating attribute data in the GIS
Performs final quality checks of GIS versioned data before it is posted to the GIS
Represents Engineering at internal and external project meetings as required
Field visits to jobsites to determine requirements for service and main work
Performs a preliminary review of development plans and interfaces with the customer
Implement and train Engineering staff on new work processes for the GIS mapping system
Distribute and update the maps for other departments of the company as requested
Disbribute and approve the requests for the acquisition and release of easements as well as the vacation of rights-of-way
Perform pipeline safety compliance related GIS analysis as directed by Manager
All other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits
