Amentum is seeking a Senior GIS Analyst. The candidate will enhance current staffing and provide technical and administrative support to satisfy mapping requirements from customers and process Census data products.
+ This is a senior level geographic information systems (GIS) technical position
+ Consults with stakeholders to review GIS data requirements
+ Propose technical approach to generate maps and other graphic designs.
+ Create maps/reports and related deliverables based on customer request including posting maps and related geospatial data to an internal GIS portal.
+ Performs analysis, development, implementation of processing approach and quality checks for electronic files and technical support via applying knowledge of GIS concepts and mapping software products.
+ Participate in teleconferences with co-counsel, client agencies and opposing counsel upon attorney request.
+ Performs mapping project evaluations, present findings, recommendations, specifications in formal reports and oral presentation.
+ Ability to obtain, extract, modify, convert, process, upload, export and perform quality assurance of complex demographic data.
+ Prepares, processes geocodes and analyzes large address database.
+ Determines optimum mapping routing schemas as necessary using appropriate GIS software.
+ Works independently on multiple phases of complex GIS tasks.
+ May review work of peers.
+ Prepare system/technical documentation.
+ Perform and supervises technical aspects of the task.
+ Organizes and conducts user training sessions on GIS software/products.
+ Design and implement a whole system solution responsive to attorney's needs.
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials/authorization at this work location.
+ Undergraduate degree required; preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
+ Must demonstrate substantial, hands-on, successful experience in doing the work on the geographic information systems (GIS), platform: Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Suite.
+ Must have knowledge of GIS concepts and a variety of mapping software/products: ESR's ARCGIS Pro, Network Analyst, ARCGIS Portal and ARCGIS Online.
+ Must have knowledge of computer graphics and demographic data products: US Census Bureau Tiger data, Census PL94-171 data and American Community Survey/ACS data.
+ At least five years of experience.
+ Requires broad knowledge of the Government's IT environments, including office automation networks, PC and server-based databases and applications.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
+ Ability to lead a technical team, and to give it direction, will be very important
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze attorney needs.
Preferred:
+ Supervisory experience very strongly preferred.
+ Experience in a litigation support environment extremely helpful.

**Overview**
Carollo Engineers is an internationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking a Lead GIS Analyst to assist with GIS figure production, creation of ArcGIS Online web maps and dashboards, and geospatial data analysis. This position requires comprehensive proficiency in the ESRI platform (ArcGIS Pro, Spatial Analyst, and ArcGIS Online) and demonstrated knowledge of GIS data processing and analysis capabilities. This position also requires a good understanding of engineering exhibit development in the area of water and wastewater infrastructure. Job duties will also include the coordination of figure production activities between multiple disciplines at the project level.

**Responsibilities**
+ Ability to create and maintain well-organized GIS geodatabases. Ability to edit and maintain enterprise geodatabase a plus.
+ Use ArcGIS Pro to update maps, perform data analysis, and develop figures and tables to communicate project findings and recommendations.
+ Able to work with minimal direction and minimal supervision to produce high-quality analysis results and figures.
+ Working knowledge of basic survey practices and an understanding of coordinate datum transformations.
+ Ability to update and maintain geospatial data based on working drawings for civil site plans (grading, drainage, and paving) from sketches (determines scales, layout, and need for specific detail).
+ Knowledge in the use of ProjectWise, Microsoft Office Software.
+ Ability to generate elevation raster surfaces and convert vertical units from meters to feet.
+ Strong understanding of coordinate system projections and datum transformations.
+ Proactively coordinates work activities with other discipline designers and engineering staff.
+ Complies with company policies and procedures and conforms to the Carollo GIS Best Practice cartographic figure and database management standards to ensure quality control.
+ Working knowledge of water, wastewater, and infrastructure planning, modeling and design.
+ Basic understanding of converting data between MicroStation, AutoCAD, KML, and GIS.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ 4-8 years of experience in water utility, water resources, engineering or related field desired.
+ Bachelor's Degree in GIS, Geography, or related field.
+ Experience reading and updating GIS based on engineering as-built construction drawings.
+ Ability to multitask and manage high quality deliverables on multiple projects.
+ Professional experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online experience required.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Must have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow best practice workflows.
**Pay Range**
$70,000 to $90,000 annually. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
