**Position Summary:** The Auburn University Department of Political Science seeks to hire a tenure-track assistant professor to support its undergraduate and graduate public administration offerings starting August 16, 2026. Advanced assistant professors may also be considered. The appointment is a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position.
**Position Responsibilities:** Candidates must be able to offer courses in public administration in person and online at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates should be broadly trained in public administration and/or public policy. We seek individuals who can contribute extensively to theNASPAA -accreditedMPA program's core curriculum offerings and our Ph.D. and undergraduate public administration programs. The standard teaching load is two courses per semester for at least the first three years of appointment.
The successful candidate will have an active research agenda and the ability to teach courses in local government administration. We seek candidates who can also contribute teaching and/or research capabilities in some combination of the following areas: ethics, environmental policy and management, intergovernmental relations/federalism, in addition to other core areas of public administration that are aligned with the mission and focus of the department's program.
**Minimum Qualifications**
Ph.D. in public administration, public policy, or related field conferred by August 16, 2026. Ability to teach courses in local government administration. The candidate selected for this position must meet eligibility requirements to work in the United States when the appointment begins and to continue working legally for the proposed term of employment; excellent communication skills are required.
**Desired Qualifications**
Candidates with professional experience in the public or nonprofit sectors; experience teaching in-person and online classes; experience teaching public administration courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels; evidence of a record of commitment to student success at the college level through substantial and continued effectiveness in teaching, advising, and other student-related responsibilities are highly desired. The School of Public Administration (SPA) at Florida Atlantic University invites applications for a tenured, junior Associate Professor specializing in the field of Public Policy. This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, academic-year (9-month) faculty position based in Boca Raton, Florida, that will begin in August 2026. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in public policy process theory and research, with the area of policy specialization being open. + Provide subject matter expertise and oversight for technical support services.
+ Perform on-site configuration, preventive maintenance inspection (PMI), troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and support services for COTHEN equipment at the Primary Operations Center/NLECC facility.
+ Coordinate work planning, scheduling, and execution for maintenance and repair services.
+ Facilitate and coordinate 3rd party depot-level maintenance and repair services for components not repairable on-site.
+ Provide software, hardware, and system engineering, evaluation, installation, configuration, integration, corrective and preventative maintenance, and support services for COTHEN fixed antenna sites.
+ Conduct comprehensive site surveys and evaluate proposed sites and equipment for integration into the COTHEN HF Network.
+ Provide on-site corrective and preventative maintenance and repair services for subscriber equipment at aircraft, vessel, and RCC sites.
+ Support configuration, maintenance, and repair of CBP and non-CBP HF subscriber radios and remote communications consoles (RCCs).
+ Perform product evaluation services for subscriber radios and RCCs considered for network integration.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ Minimum of 5 years of experience with HF/ALE tactical communications in both facility and field environments.

**Position Details**
The City College of New York's Political Science Department and Moynihan Center seek a dynamic, open-rank (tenure-track or tenured) professor who will also serve as the academic director of the College's Master of Public Administration (MPA) program.
City College's MPA program currently has an enrollment of approximately 40 students, a dedicated Program Director who manages day-to-day operations, and a faculty pool of 12 professors. The Academic Director will provide academic leadership and strategic vision for program expansion, working collaboratively with the Program Director and integrating with broader Moynihan Center programming initiatives.

+ Assess cybersecurity controls, programs and strategies using our proprietary framework and industry frameworks
+ Operate SRC&R solutions based upon engagement defined policies and procedures
+ Cybersecurity measurements and monitoring development and operations
+ Cybersecurity strategy and roadmap development
+ NIST Risk Management Framework and Assessment and Authorization enhancement, operations and governance
+ Cybersecurity focused Supply Chain Risk Management and/or Third-Party Risk management operations, assessment and enablement
+ Cybersecurity process design and re-engineering
+ Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes in a fast-paced work environment
+ Monitor progress and manage risk while ensuring stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
+ Use knowledge of industry trends to identify engagement and client service issues and communicate this information to the on-site engagement team through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
+ Stay informed of current Cybersecurity industry trends relevant to the services being delivered
**Skills and attributes for Success**
+ Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF and the cybersecurity laws and regulations such as FISMA
+ Ability to produce high-quality work products within expected timeframes
+ Ability to interface with app development teams across time zones and drive engagements to completion
+ Leadership experience
**To qualify for the role you must have**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field
+ A minimum of 3 years of related work experience
+ Proficiency in network security and security controls (firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, access management
+ Experience with ServiceNow and AuditBoard
+ Experience documenting security architecture, experience with cybersecurity architecture and design
+ Familiarity with security frameworks and technologies
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret-level clearance or higher
+ Experience in one or more of the following areas:
+ Cybersecurity assessments
+ IT and cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures and controls
+ Cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps
+ Cybersecurity awareness and training
+ Cybersecurity metrics and reporting
+ Cybersecurity organization design and implementation
+ Cybersecurity and risk management solution design and implementation (e.g. SNOW IRM, Archer GRC, RiskLens, Azure Security Center, etc.)
+ Federal RMF solution operations (e.g eMass CSAM, Xacta, etc.)
+ Cybersecurity and IT architecture experience (e.g. cloud security architect, security architect)
+ Flexibility to travel up to 20%
**Ideally, you'll also have**
+ CISSP, CISM, CISA, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP CRISC or other relevant certification
+ Prior experience in a service delivery center or similar environment
+ AWS certification

+ We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $73,100 to $32,900. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is 87,600 to 151,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
