Procurement Systems Support

Selected candidate(s) will join a team providing procurement systems support to our customer on site at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Candidate should have experience in federal procurement as well as federal IT systems to help non-technical end users maximize their use/productivity of the system. Knowledge of pre-award/award/post-award processes and ability to learn how to execute those processes within the software solution is key. Training on the solution is available. Candidate will serve as a customer advocate and be able to seek out/identify the customers pain points and present them to other subject matter experts and technologists to devise solutions to improve operations for end users such as contract specialists and contracting officers.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise and assistance to the customer using the contract writing solution to help end users perform federal acquisitions for pre-award, award, and post-award processes.
  • Work with the customer and the system to identify and implement business process efficiencies for the customer.
  • Provide input on training needs.
  • Engage directly with the customer, facilitate discussions, and research regulations that impact the government policies/procedures.
  • Analyze business processes and their impact on the solution.
  • Liaise with various teams to ensure compliance and knowledge sharing

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Extensive experience with federal civilian and/or intelligence community contracting and a firm grasp on using systems to support contracting activities.
  • Knowledge of the federal acquisition processes, regulations, directives, and instructions.
  • Experience working with the FAR and federal acquisitions systems
  • Ability to identify and define requirements of specific technical, training, and support areas for procurement business processes.
  • Hands-on familiarity with contracting solutions, such as commercially-provided contract writing systems.
  • Ability to independently facilitate sessions with the customer about policies/procedures and their impact on the system.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into system solutions and processes
  • TS Clearance required
  • Warranted Contracting Officer experience preferred.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $55,600.00 - $118,700.00.

The Senior Government Accounting Manager is a key member of the North American Technical Team within GE Aerospace Government Accounting Controllership. The role is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of maintaining compliance of the North American Cost Accounting Standards Board (CASB) Disclosure Statement (DS) and quantification of DS revision impacts as required by CAS. The role will execute general dollar magnitude (GDM) cost impacts, disclose cost accounting practice changes to our government regulators and be integrated into the business to detect and ensure compliance regarding future business changes. The Senior Government Accounting Manager is also responsible for building critical relationships with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) personnel. The role will have frequent contact with GE Aerospace Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and business stakeholders. Finally, the Senior Government Accounting Manager will ensure synchronization with the wider Government Business team to achieve team and business objectives.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The Senior Government Accounting Manager will play a critical role to ensure GE Aerospace is compliant with the Cost Accounting Standards and internal policies and procedures:
+ Major contributor to annual Disclosure Statement (DS) updates as well as support of government audits for prior year DS revisions.
+ Perform General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) modeling and analysis to pinpoint impact of potential CAS non-compliances, cost accounting practice changes (CAP) and DS revisions.
+ Support the Innoveering business as the Government Accounting Compliance Lead
+ Develop, review, and publish indirect overhead and direct labor pricing, billing, and final (ICS) rates
+ Support ICS and proposal audits
+ Implement monthly cost monitoring to ensure accuracy of pricing and billing rates
+ Build open and positive relationships with internal business partners and USG customers
+ Implement business processes that are compliant with the Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and support the requirements of Federal Acquisition regulation (FAR), Department of Defense supplement (DFARS), and other applicable acquisition regulations and guidance
+ Implement business processes that are compliant with the CAS and support the requirements in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Department of Defense supplement (DFARS), and other applicable acquisition regulations and guidance.

**Required Qualifications**

+ Expertise in Government Accounting with significant practical experience calculating complex General Dollar Magnitude (GDM) cost impacts, Cost Accounting Standards and CASB Disclosure Statements.
+ Experience in complex Excel financial modeling and analytics (ROM/GDM/DCI)
+ Significant experience interacting with senior DCMA (ACO, DACO, CACO) and DCAA (supervisory auditor, Branch Manager, Regional Audit Manager).
+ Experience with FPRP and ICS cycles.
+ Strong cost accounting background related to US Government contracting.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to tailor communications to the needs of the audience.
+ Ability to apply lean principles in a transactional setting with an emphasis on root cause analysis, countermeasure development, and sustained change control.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead projects / programs. Ability to document, plan and execute programs. Established project management skills.

The base pay range for this position is $130,000-$160,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $141,200 to $58,900. **The opportunity**
EY is seeking a seasoned Integration Platform Developer with a strong background in Event-Driven Architecture (EDA), Kafka, microservices, and API integration. This role is crucial for leading the development and integration of scalable, efficient, and secure solutions that support the client's strategic objectives and enable seamless data flow across various systems.
In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain robust integration platforms that facilitate real-time data processing and communication between disparate services. You will be at the forefront of creating and managing the infrastructure that supports microservices and event-driven systems, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
**Your key responsibilities**
+ Architect and develop integration solutions using Kafka and other EDA tools to enable real-time data streaming and processing
+ Design and implement microservices that are scalable, resilient, and easily maintainable
+ Develop API integration patterns and set up API management solutions to facilitate secure and efficient data exchange
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
+ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for integration services to ensure quick and reliable deployment of new features
+ Lead the adoption of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment within the integration domain
+ Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team's knowledge base by documenting technical processes and training materials

+ Proven experience in designing and implementing Kafka-based event-driven systems
+ Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles and patterns

+ Proficiency in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for integration services
+ Solid programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Go
