Job Purpose
This is an entry level position to support the team to perform Offline Programming (OLP) utilizing simulation
software and robotics knowledge to reduce new model introduction time. They will be responsible to support the
team to minimize the negative impact to current model production while reducing online robot programming time
for new model activity. The primary tools this position uses are robotic simulation, cycle time estimations and
validating tooling design in the 3D CAD/CAE environment.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute new model offline simulation for individual process and
- Tooling clearance checks, cycle time validation, and robot program download under the assistance of a mentor.
- Communicate with Engineering, Mechanical Design and Electrical Design on changes needed in order to successfully install Off Line Programming.
- Validate current production cycle time and troubleshoot countermeasures for improvement.
- Support the online teach team, consisting of internal and contract resources at a process level
- for Offline Programming implementation and cycle time verification.
- Support of overall unit initiatives and support group-level business plan goals
- Create deliverables for Off Line Programming install or handoff to supplier
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational
Qualifications : Bachelor of Engineering degree in Robotics/Mechanical/Manufacturing/Welding/or Engineering Technology or an associate degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum Experience : 0 to 2 years of relevant experience. In robot simulation and/or robot programming.
Other Job-Specific
Skills: Off-line programming experience or experience with Fanuc and/or Yaskawa Motoman robotic programming. Robotic/Automated equipment deployment experience. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job purpose:
- Lead new model projects to mass production in the plastics department while ensuring all project targets are achieved in each of the SEQCDM categories.
Key accountabilities:
- New Model Project Planning – Develop SQDCM project targets, manage MMC based investment/expense items, support new model department investigation items, Coordinate tooling maturation with PEBU. Conduct and lead department cross functional meetings related to the project
- Prepare and Present New Model Presentations – Develop and present all “WAR” (We Are Ready) documents per plant direction. Support reporting at each evaluation event, get mass production results per SEQCDM and future model reflections
- Lead Department Line Trial Events – Coordinate and support try, build event, die delivery schedule with Forming groups, Weld, Plant and Production Engineering Business Unit (PEBU). Coordinate blank and coil delivery schedules. Coordinate parts delivery, design level, handwork quality with Weld
- Mass Production Readiness – Assure all Forming Training of all effected associates per project. Verify mass production baskets in house before mass production, verify quality database is setup, verify GPCS is setup, verify all line side required documentation is ready.

Job Purpose
Design processes for safe and efficient automotive frame assembly. Use analytic tools and traditional industrial engineering methods to optimize Assembly Line production functions
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in developing a balanced process across manufacturing areas using Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (M.O.S.T.). Apply lean manufacturing techniques to support process efficiency and meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale (SQCDM) targets. Design and implement processes that are simple and effective.
- Audit and maintain data to ensure accurate information across all operations standards. Perform basic time estimates for production processes and equipment loads. Support the develop and refinement of operation standards.
- Support Stamping / Plastics Department Lead for Process Data Development and Analysis (PDDA), Managed Detection and Response System (MDRS), Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) systems. Participate in meetings with Honda functional groups to discuss improvement themes in Quality, Safety, Delivery, Production, Purchasing, Packaging, or Logistics.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste within the process and improve efficiency. Apply 5S work methods, workstation design, and set best practices for production.
- Evaluate and implement ergonomic countermeasures to prevent associate injury.
- Assist in developing plans and schedules for projects. Support New Model Events by incorporating change points into process design, and identifying concerns and countermeasure before mass production.
- Maintain accurate AutoCAD department layout. Read Parts drawings, Spec Notices, 3D CATIA data.
- Create charts and presentations to report status and plans for key department metrics.
- Collect feedback from the production floor and address their concerns. Provide project support for all items impacting Assembly Department associate process
Qualifications/Experience/Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing) or previous work experience of 6 years that is equivalent.
Minimum Experience: 0-6 years of experience based on education

Job Purpose
The Resource Planning Lead will use advanced analytical skills and decision-making capabilities to provide business intelligence on key drivers and financial performance for the AHM Human Resource Business Unit on a monthly, quarterly, annual and mid-term basis. This role handles leading forecasting events, month endclosing processes, and financial reporting activities for the Business Unit, including analyzing operating costs and investment plans that significantly affect North American profitability. The Resource Planning Lead will
collaborate with the HR Management, as well as Purchasing and Finance personnel, to manage funding allocations, financial proposals, account reconciliation and analysis, and target vs. actual reporting to ensure financial efficiency and compliance, driving the organization towards its financial goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Generate and analyze various reports within SAP, including budget variance reports, expenditure summaries, and financial performance dashboards to identify budget gaps, forecast savings, and timing of payments. Conduct meetings with departments during month-end and year-end close processes to investigate discrepancies and provide guidance to department managers, while overseeing monthly accruals and chargeback

Job Purpose
Through Software and Calibration, the Systems and Drivability engineer will be responsible for confirming the integration of the full powertrain meet Honda, consumer, and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- Schedule planning, management, & reporting: Based on assignments provided from direct supervisor, propose a completion plan, and review it to ensure expectations and priority are properly understood. Plan daily work to achieve objectives, notifying direct supervisor in advance of risks to meet the deadline.
- Learn test process: Consult with direct supervisor to understand the scope and direction for testing / calibration assignments. Follow direct supervisor's advice on what to investigate and/or confirm. Complete all testing as instructed. Complete all required training for in-house software, calibration hardware, and vehicle/facility safety.
- System functionality interdependencies: Consult with direct supervisor or group experts to learn how to estimate potential impacts of design changes and calibration updates.
- Change point verification: Work with direct supervisor to learn the overall process and the specific role of the Test Engineer. Consult with group experts to determine the starting point, what should be verified and how it should be verified for assigned part based on the vehicle change points.
- Internal Collaboration: Communicate with your direct supervisor at the appropriate frequency to avoid becoming stuck or to avoid excessive rework due to too much time spent working toward the wrong direction. Communicate the status of assignments in the weekly group meeting. Share concerns with direct supervisor in monthly check in meetings.
- Document Creation, Reporting & Follow up: Under close guidance of direct supervisor, create documentation for assigned parts, report in evaluation events, and respond to any follow up items per requested deadline.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- 3-years related experience or equivalent level of education and experience
- Proficient PC skills, including but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, and MATLAB
Working Conditions
- Associate will work on the actual vehicle with hand and power tools. Candidate can expect to spend a portion of their time working in the lab – confirming their systems on bench, on the car, or in thermal chambers. (50%)
- Associate will perform analysis and documentation, then communicate findings to varying levels of management. (50%)

Job Purpose:
Design safe and efficient processes for Main Assembly and Sub-Assemblies for the AF Department. Use analytic tools and traditional industrial engineering methods to optimize production functions.
Accountabilities:
- Use M.O.S.T. to develop balanced processes across AF manufacturing areas. Work to achieve Maximum Process Efficiency. Apply Lean Manufacturing techniques. Design processes that are simple and achieve SQCDM targets.
- Perform time estimates for process/line work, equipment loads, and develop operation standards for the AF Department during development
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste within the process and improve efficiency. Apply 5S work methods, workstation design, and set best practices for production.
- Evaluate and implement ergonomic countermeasures to prevent associate injury.
- Maintain accurate AutoCAD department layout.
- Collect feedback from the production floor in AF and address their concerns.
- Read Parts drawings, Spec Notices, 3D CATIA data.
Qualifications
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering field or equivalent related experience.

Job Purpose
Successful development and launch of New Models while achieving model and business targets. Manage all aspects of model fixture development from concept to mass production readiness for manufacturing department.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and Develop component prototype for test and trial to verify performance results to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Confirm manufacturing impact through Design Development timing. Complete studies correlating to design development data and drawing releases.
- Develop, manage, and track fixture activity schedule (SAP) in correlation with project schedule to ensure implementation and readiness prior to introduction. Track and report project progress and status to achieve results.
- Understand and routinely communicate project information to team and customers.
- Develop and manage investment and expense budgets to achieve overall project cost targets.
- Determine Paint department’s assigned components (fixtures, jigs, carts, racks.etc.) needs, including inventory quantities for the new model and/or characteristic change points and related impact. Develop department strategies and targets to meet or exceed project A00's / A0's based on previous model reflections, and Manufacturing Mangement Center direction and targets.
- Prepare evaluation materials to meet required schedules using standardized formats that accurately represent project status vs the evaluation criteria so that evaluator(s) can make good judgment.
- Prepare design bid packet to determine maker layout to order fixtures for mass production needs.
- Lead and support collaborative problem-solving activity with related departments.
- Develop capability of self, colleagues, and team through training, mentoring, and sharing of experiences in area of technical expertise and understanding for succession planning and team growth.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Catia, 3D design, 2D drawing, 5S, Project Management
Working Conditions
- Will require frequent travel to factories in North America
- Possible international travel required
