**Position Description**
Serco is hiring Graphic Artists to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency Public Assistance recovery initiatives in Zone 2 across the Midwest. The Graphic Artists will consist of professional and non-professional personnel to provide support to state, tribal, territorial local governments, and some private non-profits. Serco strives to provide support quickly and efficiently to FEMA's mission by helping those effected by man-made and natural disasters. These positions are deployment based, and you must be willing and able to deploy anywhere in Zone 2.
**This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a FEMA EOD Badge/Public Trust Clearance.**

In this role, you will:
+ Assist in the development of PA Program guidance documents and tools when needed
+ Create/provide training aids, instructor guides, student manuals, and web-based training for PA course instruction
+ Provide technical, technical editing, graphic development, and formatting for PA documents
**Qualifications**
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ 5 years minimum of prior Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) experience
+ A bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field and 5 years of experience in a related field; OR 10 years of experience in graphic design or in a related field (without a degree; must have high school diploma or GED)
+ Experience with graphics creation
+ Demonstrated knowledge and experience in recovery arena
+ The ability to obtain and maintain FEMA Public Trust
+ A United States citizenship
+ The ability to maintain FEMA specific trainings
+ Strong Microsoft Office skills
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills
+ The ability to deploy to any location in zone 2 with a 24-48-hour notice after task order award
+ _Zone 2 includes Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming_
+ The ability to go on 6-12-month deployments at a minimum

Position Summary

  • Graphic Design & Development

Position Overview

BizFirst is supporting our client in search of a full-time Graphic Artist IV to provide senior-level visual communications and creative design support to the Chief of Staff and leadership across the JPEO-CBRND program. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of innovative digital and print media solutions that communicate complex information clearly and effectively to senior stakeholders. This role requires experience in multimedia production, brand identity, and communication strategy, with the ability to translate technical and strategic concepts into engaging and visually impactful products. What You will Do:

As a Graphic Artist IV, you will provide creative leadership, develop graphics for a variety of communication materials, and manage high-priority design projects from concept to completion. You will serve as a visual strategist for internal and external engagements, apply branding standards, and maintain visual excellence across digital, print, and multimedia deliverables. Working independently and collaboratively, you will shape the visual identity of the program and ensure consistency, clarity, and innovation in all design products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creative design and development of digital and print products including infographics, technical illustrations, briefings, publications, branding, signage, and multimedia content. Provide strategic visual direction, manage creative projects from concept through completion, and maintain alignment with organizational goals and branding standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data and abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual communications tailored to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Design reusable templates and visual frameworks for routine and customized use, ensuring consistency across communication products. Operate design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and VectorWorks; utilize CNC router as needed for fabrication-related work. Support internal and external events with tailored graphics, signage, photography, and videography; manage public release approvals and coordinate with vendors as required. Maintain design SOPs, archive deliverables in approved locations, and provide training or guidance on graphic standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in visual communications and graphic design. Management: At least 5 years of experience managing or leading creative projects and teams. Design Tools: Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, VectorWorks, and related multimedia tools. Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative ideas to senior leadership. Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance required. **Overview**
Bowhead is seeking a Graphic Designer/ Artist to support the Office of Corporate Communications at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in Springfield, VA. This position will be a Graphics Design Artist to work with the Government Customer to oversee design projects from concept to completion.
**Responsibilities**
+ Designs art and copy layouts for material to be presented by visual communications media such as books, magazines, newspapers, Internet websites, television, and packaging.
+ Prepares materials manually or by utilizing graphic software to design and produce finished artwork or product.
+ Provide design and layout support, text processing, page mark-up, graphic scanning, large and small format printing, sign marking, engraving, mounting & laminating, and any other creative design support.
+ Will design products for printing on digital presses, which can differ from other design and layouts.
+ Must have detailed knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud graphic design software package on a Windows platform.Products produced include but are not limited to the following product types.
+ Digital Signage / Web Graphics.
+ Engravings: Engraving includes engravings on brass, glass, plastic, and wood.
+ Handouts: Fact sheets, flyers, newsletters, tri-folds, pamphlets, programs, etc.
+ Historical Displays and Exhibits: Production timeline varies depending upon the exhibit size.
+ Infographics.
+ Miscellaneous: Cover Designs, logos, coins, etc.
+ Posters: Posters can range in sizes from 11" x 17" inches up to 24" x 30".
+ PowerPoint Visualizations: Provided for executive leadership only.
+ Publications: Graphics team completes approximately 4-6 publications over 20 pages annually. These can range from 21 pages to 200 pages. The remaining are typically under 20 pages.
**Qualifications**
+ Must have 3 years of relevant experience in the career field of graphic design and familiarity with a wide range of design software applications.
+ Demonstrates experience in of graphic design and managing multiple project simultaneously
+ Must have detailed knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud graphic design software package on a Windows platform.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess an active Top Secret clearance. Candidates with an active Top Secret/SCI are preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a CI poly. Possessing an active CI Poly is preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
