**Job Description**
**AECOM's** San Diego Natural Resources group is actively seeking an ecological restoration crew member for full-time employment. The candidate will support numerous projects in the southern California region, and report to the Field Director formally with day to day supervision from the Crew Leader.
**Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:**
+ Under the direction of the Crew Leader and Field Director, provide field labor for all aspects of habitat restoration including but not limited to nonnative species control (manual, mechanical, and chemical), native seed application and container plant installation and maintenance, construction and maintenance of temporary irrigation systems, and erosion control.
+ Act as back-up for the Crew Leader in his/her absence.
+ Work on complex projects with support and guidance from the Field Director and Crew Leader.
+ Maintain the Annex (National City) and Clover Flat (Campo) facilities - e.g., irrigation, climate control, and security systems.
+ Maintain seed cleaning and other equipment.
+ Maintenance of Qualified Applicator Certificate.
+ Consult with supervisor about unusual problems and developments.
+ Participation in and enthusiasm for AECOM's health and safety culture. Compliance and enforcement of OSHA and AECOM specific safety policies.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
**Must Have Skills/Experience (Including any required Certifications):**
+ High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience in native habitat fieldwork.
+ Knowledge and understanding of equipment and techniques used to perform habitat restoration.
+ Knowledge and familiarity with use and repair of small power equipment, such as weed eaters, chain saws, and blowers.
+ Willingness to perform herbicide application.
+ Native plant species knowledge and identification.
+ Elementary GPS capabilities.
+ Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/ clients are security sensitive.
+ Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record to drive between job sites.
+ Majority of daily tasks require moving and working in outdoor environments with uneven terrain, heavy, moving, dangerous equipment, variable outdoor conditions including heat, dusts, chemicals, moisture, and dryness.
+ Position requires frequently lifting, carrying, and loading equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. such as extinguishers, Indian pumps and small power equipment without assistance and up to 50lbs. with assistance.
+ Often performing repetitive bending & stooping, power gripping/squeezing to perform maintenance tasks and operating equipment.
+ Position requires wearing personal protective equipment, including safety glasses/goggles, gloves, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection and face shield.
**Preferred Skills/Experience:**
+ Experience with electronic data collection devices.
+ CPR/First Aid certified.
+ English/Spanish bilingual.
+ Operation of specialized equipment such as bulldozers.
+ Excellent work ethic and team-player attitude. Ability to lead, as needed.
+ Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to follow specific instructions.
+ Ability to effectively express his or herself orally to other project staff.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $19.57/hour - $4.24/hour.

The geologist shall ensure activities, including plan development, field activities, report writing, designs, etc., are of the highest quality to meet project objectives. We are currently seeking a Mid-level Environmental Management Specialist in Los Angeles CA to support a wide variety of environmental projects. - Performing work up to 50% onsite at the Santa Susana Field Laboratory (SSFL) site in Simi Valley.
- Onsite field work would include but is not limited to soil and groundwater sampling, water level measurements, manual pumping of remediation wells, monitoring/troubleshooting an existing onsite solar powered groundwater extraction system, oversight of subcontractors, and other environmental field work.

Job Summary
The Maryland SoccerPlex is currently seeking an experienced, positive, and innovative self- starter to join the Grounds and Environmental Management (GEM) team as a Director of Grounds and Environmental Management. This individual should be motivated, open-minded and environmentally conscience. As Director, this person will be responsible for all planning, scheduling, and personnel management for the GEM team. As such, their main focus should be the creation and maintenance of high quality, multiuse natural grass playing surfaces. The Director will also be responsible for maintaining cohesive working relationships with not only SoccerPlex administrative staff, but County Parks maintenance and administrative staff as well. Long-term, the Director is expected to continue field renovations which lead to natural surfaces that are playable and consistent even in extreme conditions. The Maryland SoccerPlex - a 160-acre Park with 24 full-size fields (13 Bermudagrass, 8 Cool season, 3 Artificial) - is located in Boyds, MD (northwest of Washington, DC).
Responsibilities
Management :
  • Create separate, annual agronomic plans for the SoccerPlex's 8 cool season fields, 13 warm season fields, 3 synthetic fields, as well as 80 acres of common areas surrounding playing surfaces.
    • Agronomic plan must comply with all Maryland state fertilizer and pesticide laws,
    • Integrate progressive/innovative strategies to maintain superior quality, high use natural grass surfaces,
  • Manage and maintain annual operating budget including all purchasing,
    • Propose annual budget adjustments as needed,
  • Research and procure fixed assets on an annual basis, including but not limited to equipment, field construction/improvements, and landscaping construction/improvements,
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers,
  • Development and execution of environmental safety plan,
  • Coordinate with SoccerPlex Director of Operations on field usage and scheduling throughout the year,
  • Coordinate/collaborate with Montgomery County maintenance staff weekly to ensure compliance with county regulations as well as maintain this unique private/public partnership,
  • Plan, execute, and manage field improvement projects such as drainage and irrigation installation/repair, reseeding/sodding/sprigging of fields, etc.
Operations ;
  • Act as general contractor on all field related construction projects,
  • Continue progressively improving SoccerPlex natural playing surfaces via drainage installation, improved grass varieties, innovative cultural practices, etc.,
  • Oversee daily operations and coordinate with Manager and Assistants to achieve agronomic goals,
  • Operate turf maintenance equipment including various mowers, tractors, utility carts and other equipment essential to turf management operations,
  • Oversee equipment maintenance plan for large fleet of John Deere, Redexim, and other turf equipment
  • Train grounds staff in all aforementioned Operations skills
  • Create unique strategies and implement new methods in order to sustain the highest quality fields possible
  • Other duties as assigned.
Staff Management:
  • Responsible for all hiring and employee scheduling for Grounds Department,
  • Develop and execute training and professional development of all Grounds Department Personnel
  • Prepare daily work plans for staff
  • Develop the daily / weekly / monthly staff schedule, working around events & / or field use
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and certifications required by Federal, State, and Local authorities related to grounds crew personnel,
  • Manage full-time, part-time and seasonal grounds staff on various projects and during events,
  • Coordinate with SoccerPlex Facilities and Operations staff during league, tournaments, and special events,
  • Ensure quality control and safety of subordinate work crews.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

As Senior Professional/Project Engineer at KCI, you will oversee the successful execution of engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality
standards, timelines, and budgetary constraints. The Senior Project Engineer plays a crucial role in driving project success and maintaining client

  • Minimum of 6 years professional experience related to ecological restoration and stream assessment for natural and urbanized channels required
  • A demonstrated understanding of fluvial geomorphology principles and processes and restoration methodologies for freshwater and tidal ecosystems required
  • Experience performing geomorphic assessments and restoration design in the Mid-Atlantic required
  • Ability to organize and write technical assessment and design reports documenting approach, findings, and recommendations required
  • Ability to perform and document computations to inform and validate designs is required
  • Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD including ability to build 3D surfaces of existing and proposed conditions
  • Ability to prepare engineer's cost estimates and specifications required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required

Join us.**Job Description***AECOM** is seeking an **Environmental Records Management Specialist** to be based in **Sacramento, CA** . **This role is open for remote work.***SUMMARY:**The records management specialist will work closely with the environmental compliance database manager to enter data in the Authoritys proprietary environmental compliance database management system, Environmental Mitigation and Management Application (EMMA). This individual will analyze and enter the Authoritys environmental commitments as documented in the Mitigation, Monitoring, and Reporting Plan and regulatory permits into EMMA and ensure that the application is updated with any amendments to the regulatory permits. The records management specialist will also support compliance implementation, documentation, and reporting for project sections under construction, and assist with the review and correction of environmental documents submitted into EMMA by the Project and Construction Management (PCM) team and contractors. Currently, project construction spans 119 miles in the Central Valley and is expected to expand to 170 miles from Merced to Bakersfield.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**+ Receive assignments from the environmental compliance database manager+ Coding environmental commitments from environmental and permit approval documents into EMMA+ Assist with the review of environmental documents+ Assist with updating EMMA with any permit amendments+ Assist with document controls in SharePoint and other applications+ Assist with construction-phase compliance reporting**Qualifications***MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**+ BA/BS + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**+ Bachelors degree in a related field.+ 5 years of relevant experience+ Familiarity with major State and federal environmental laws including CEQA, NEPA, Clean Water Act, endangered species acts, Porter-Cologne, lake/streambed alteration agreements+ Experience in construction compliance tracking, documentation, reporting+ Experience with large, complex environmental programs+ Familiarity with data entry and complex databases+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite+ Able to work independently**Additional Information**+ Travel may be required for this position.+ Sponsorship is not available for this positionOffered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. **Your Opportunity**
We have an immediate opportunity for a **Senior** **Environmental Data Management Specialist** to join our dynamic PMCM team in **Walnut Creek, CA** . The successful candidate will work independently as well as within the PMCM Technology Team team to manage database systems, develop data management procedures, assist colleagues in performing data-related tasks, and networking with internal/external clients.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
+ Prepare proposals and data management estimates.
+ Prepare data management plans
+ Liaise and coordinate with internal and external clients to provide data management solutions.
+ Provide mentorship to data managers.
+ Work on a wide variety of environmental projects at a time, on sites located throughout the United States and internationally.
+ Manage and organize laboratory, field, spatial and geological data to ensure quality and consistency.
+ Maintain and query data using EQuIS, MS Access and MS SQL Server
+ Produce data reports using in-house software and/or specialized queries.
+ Assist in developing standards and procedures for data management process improvements.
+ Actively communicate and coordinate with project managers, laboratories, and/or other team members to acquire data packages of varying formats to be imported to a centralized database system.
+ Prepare submittals for large government clients
**Your Capabilities and Credentials**
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
+ Strong expertise in relational database design and development.
+ Proficiency in SQL/t-sql and experience with SQL Server tools (SSMS, SSIS, SSRS).
+ Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes
+ Proficient with EarthSoft EQuIS Proficient with MS Excel, advanced formulas, and VBA programming
+ Proficient with MS Power BI Platform to develop custom data reports and analytics (Desktop and Paginated Reports or SSRS)
+ Proficient in using and understanding Federal/Provincial/Municipal/State regulatory guidelines.
+ Exceptional attention to detail
+ Passion for working with data and have had exposure to environmental analytical and field data.
+ Strong problem-solving skills
+ Capable of working both independently and in a team environment
+ Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities, with ability to self-manage priorities, deadlines, and budgets.
+ Dedication to meet project deadlines in a timely manner.
+ Excellent verbal communication with peers, project managers and clients
+ Knowledge of ArcGIS, Survey 123 and/or US EPA Scribe Software is considered an asset.
**Education and Experience**
A minimum of 10 years of related data management experience in the environmental or analytical chemistry sector.
B.A. or B.S. in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Chemistry, Geology, Database Management, or related field.

**Pay Range:**
- Locations in NYC & CA (Bay Area) & NJ (RP) - Min Salary $ 136,300.00 - Max Salary $ 204,400.00
**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
