9. Act as a liaison between the facility and mental health consultants and coordinate mental health program
10. Recommend and authorize medical or psychiatric evaluation for emotional or psychological problems; evaluate results and take remedial action as warranted
11. Manage the record keeping and reports on injuries, diseases and disabilities of inmates
12. Manage in-service training in health related areas for other departments
13. Coordinate with local agencies for planning and conducting environmental health inspections
14. Coordinate, review and approve payment to all outside vendors, subcontracted staff and services ensuring that expenditures are within contractual and budgetary limitations
15. Coordinate with other center staff concerning health services
16. Ensure that the health services department is in compliance with all applicable OSHA guidelines and regulations
17. Regular onsite attendance is required
18. Promote the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behaviors and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed; provide regular feedback to staff regarding social skills procedures and intervention techniques
19. Maintain accountability of staff, inmates and property; adhere to safety practices
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
**Education and Experience Requirements:**
1. Bachelor's Degree in Business Management/ Healthcare Administration or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. At least two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Previous corrections experience preferred.

2. A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current licensure as a Registered Nurse or APRN in the state of Ohio. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Nursing experience in acute, ambulatory care, emergency room, or correctional health care setting is preferred. Three (3) years professional experience in health services administration or healthcare program management preferred. Valid driver's license in the state of Ohio with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management. Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements. Occasional travel required

The Cleveland Clinic is seeking a health services researcher to join its Center for Value-Based Care Research (CVCR). CVCR has 9 full-time investigators, including MDs and PhDs, and strong institutional support with the goal of improving population health and reducing costs through practice redesign, quality measurement, implementation science, clinical decision support, and ensuring evidence-based, patient-centered care. Faculty appointments are available through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Candidates should be at the level of assistant professor and have an MD or PhD in Health Services Research, Economics, Epidemiology, or similar, and will be expected to conduct analyses using electronic health records and other databases and to evaluate the impact of practice redesign within one of America's premier learning health systems. Training in large database analysis, outcomes research, qualitative methods, biostatistics, health information technology, behavioral economics, or cost-effectiveness is preferred.
Applicants interested in preventive medicine, diabetes/obesity, chronic disease management, cardiovascular disease, pneumonia, and geriatrics/palliative care are particularly welcome.
