- Compliance: Adhere to all underwriting guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate and compliant documentation throughout the underwriting process.
- Travel: Occasional travel within the assigned territory may be required for broker and client meetings, industry events, and internal meetings.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 4 or more years of underwriting experience, including demonstrated ability to handle middle market and/or large risks.
- Prior experience underwriting medical malpractice or casualty is helpful.
- Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with both internal and external customers.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively under tight deadlines.

Compensation Disclosure
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. The Office of the General Counsel is seeking a motivated and mission-driven attorney with health care experience to provide support to the health care legal team at Stanford University. This position will support Stanford Health Care, Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, and the hospitals' medical foundations in regulatory, transactional and certain litigation matters. Core Responsibilities:

Proactively identify and assess potential legal and reputational risk for clients and recommend practical, creative solutions.

Support Senior University Counsel(s) on the health care team through legal research, drafting memoranda, presentations, and certain board and corporate documents.

Lead on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating clinical services agreements and other health care-related transactions documents, including agreements between and among Stanford entities.

We are looking for a seasoned security architect from the Healthcare industry to jumpstart this new role within the Industry Initiatives team at Palo Alto Networks. The candidate will work closely with customers and prospects in the industry to demonstrate security best practices and how Palo Alto Networks platform approach can enable the industry’s security requirements. Good candidates for this role have been or are a security architect in the given industry, with: excellent presentation skills, excellent written skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and expand repeatable architectures to support the given industry. Develop, maintain, and expand repeatable use cases to support the given industry. Provide ongoing global sales support and customer/prospect engagement as a credible expert with real-world industry experience. Support real-time sales requests to support your given industry with deep Healthcare and security knowledge, RFI/RFP templates, and onsite meetings. Maintain and expand company insights into security requirements for the Healthcare industry. Help drive key industry requirements into Product Management, where applicable. Develop thought leadership and credibility through assets including: Whitepapers Presentations at key industry events Sales training including sales guides and use cases Industry-specific technology webinars Active social media and FUEL user group engagement Demos Actively work with industry thought leaders to develop and deliver content at conferences, roadshows, seminars, etc. Support marketing initiatives in the Healthcare industry. Qualifications Sales- and customer-focused to drive vastly improved detection and prevention into the given industry market. Strong working knowledge of a range of networking, compute and security technologies and their applications. TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs, 3G/4G. Virtualization and cloud. Firewall, IPS/IDS, AV, VPN, Sandboxing, Endpoint security. Mobile security. Ability to create technical value propositions with credible reference use cases and architectural diagrams. Proven delivery of written product. Ability to travel regularly to support customers and prospects. Comfort with C-level to IT manager level engagement and messaging. Independent thinker with a very team-oriented approach. Strong relationship management and team skills. Ability to spot trends and anticipate the market. Experience working with global teams on multiple projects and programs. Strong ability to multitask with proven track record of execution on initiatives/programs. Writing samples and references for communication and other skills. BSEE/BSCE. 5-7 years’ experience as a network security architect or similar function in the healthcare industry. 10-15 years’ total experience in networking and security.
