Job Description
The Estimator - Public & Healthcare up to 54M - Worcester, MA - responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive preconstruction estimates.
- Support bidding and pursuit efforts for major public and healthcare projects.
- Engage with cross-functional teams and field staff to align estimating strategies with project execution realities.
- Contribute to the company's expanding healthcare portfolio with upcoming projects in Worcester and Springfield, MA.

The Successful Applicant
The Estimator - Public & Healthcare up to 54M - Worcester, MA - Will have
- 5+ years total experience in construction, with a solid background as a Superintendent or Project Manager-field experience is a must.
- Proven ability to manage and contribute to projects valued at 20M+.
- Steady career trajectory-no frequent job changes.
- Preferably experience in Public, Academic, K-12, Healthcare, or other large ground-up projects (Multifamily experience is not a fit).
- A deep understanding of the physical, hands-on side of construction; technical estimating skills can be developed on the job.
- Strong desire to grow professionally, ideally following a path similar to a current top Estimator who started in the field and advanced through leadership roles.

As an Operating Room Specialist in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve, you will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff in preparing the patient and operating room environment. You will provide assistance to the medical staff during surgical procedures. You will also operate the centralized material service and are responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile medical supplies and special equipment for medical treatment facilities.
Job Duties
- Provide assistance to the medical staff during surgical procedures to include the creation and maintenance of sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist in preparing patients and operating room environment for surgery
- Perform various preoperative and postoperative procedures as directed. This does not include the manipulation of tissue (e.g., cutting, suturing, cannulating, grafting, sawing or drilling)
- Responsible for the sterilization process, which includes inspecting, cleaning, assembling, warping and sterilizing equipment
Experience
Because the U.S. Army provides training for all of our military occupational specialties, no specific experience in the medical field is necessary.
Candidates with a current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) may be exempt from some training requirements.
Training
Job training to become an operating room specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, which includes on-the-job instruction. Some of the skills youll learn are:

As an Operating Room Specialist in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve, you will be responsible for assisting the nursing staff in preparing the patient and operating room environment. You will provide assistance to the medical staff during surgical procedures. You will also operate the centralized material service and are responsible for preparing and maintaining sterile medical supplies and special equipment for medical treatment facilities.
Job Duties
- Provide assistance to the medical staff during surgical procedures to include the creation and maintenance of sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Assist in preparing patients and operating room environment for surgery
- Perform various preoperative and postoperative procedures as directed. This does not include the manipulation of tissue (e.g., cutting, suturing, cannulating, grafting, sawing or drilling)
- Responsible for the sterilization process, which includes inspecting, cleaning, assembling, warping and sterilizing equipment
Experience
Because the U.S. Army provides training for all of our military occupational specialties, no specific experience in the medical field is necessary.
Candidates with a current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) may be exempt from some training requirements.
Training
Job training to become an operating room specialist consists of 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, which includes on-the-job instruction. Some of the skills youll learn are:

- Clinical laboratory procedures
- Methods for diagnosing diseases
