  • Oversee and modify CCHCs Compliance Program and conduct internal monitoring for compliance.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as directed by the CAO.
  • Establish and maintain contract provisions and terms for all agreements.
  • Identify issues related to information security, confidentiality, and HIPAA.
  • Serve as CCHCs Privacy Officer.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience with HRSA is preferred.
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant state and federal legislation.
  • Paralegal or contracting experience is a plus but not required.

PAY RATE: $33-$36/hr (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a Healthcare Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of clients, including hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, and more. This position is based in Los Angeles, CA, but we will also consider remote applicants.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent healthcare companies in False Claims Act litigation, federal and state investigations, government enforcement actions, and other complex civil disputes.
  • Collaborate with members of the Complex Disputes, Healthcare, and Government Investigations & White Collar Defense teams both in California and nationwide.
  • Handle significant litigation tasks, including writing pleadings, briefs, declarations, and memoranda.
  • Manage projects, litigation processes, and client interactions effectively.
  • Utilize e-discovery skills and document management platforms proficiently.
  • Navigate complex healthcare regulatory environments, including familiarity with federal and California healthcare fraud and abuse laws.
Requirements:
  • At least three years of litigation experience.
  • California Bar admission.
  • Exceptional writing and project management skills.
  • Experience with e-discovery and information management platforms.
  • Background in representing healthcare entities and understanding healthcare regulatory environments.
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned matters, projects, and tasks.
  • Clerkship and/or relevant federal or state agency experience preferred.
Salary and Benefits:
  • Annual Salary Range: 250,000 to 350,000
  • Standard benefits package
  • Additional contingent compensation based on work performance, geographic location, experience, education, and qualifications.
