Key Responsibilities:

Your Career

The Healthcare Industry Architect, will expect to be knowledgeable of the top healthcare industry use cases and cybersecurity trends in today’s market and   correlate how top use cases impact Palo Alto Healthcare Architecture Offerings in the areas of next security, cloud, and sec ops transformation. The healthcare architect should be very knowledgeable of the key industry use cases, and also the full palo alto networks suite of offerings. The healthcare architect will be responsible for being a strategic and technology advisor to drive adoption and sales for Palo Altos most strategic healthcare provider clients. The healthcare advisor should be very comfortable in creating content, collateral, and architectural diagrams tying the most important use cases to the Palo Alto Set of Platforms and solutions. The healthcare architect should be very comfortable to present, evangelize,, and drive a partnership with both a C-level audience and practitioners. The healthcare architect should also be  comfortable in enabling sellers, partners, and account teams on the healthcare message and palo alto network technology solution areas. 

Your Impact

  • Drive and Create a Healthcare Industry Point of View and Architecture based on Palo Alto Networks Solution and Platform Areas

  • Drive a 'solution sales' mindset translating healthcare use cases to Palo Alto Network Solutions and Offerings

  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to drive a consultative sales culture working with the biggest healthcare providers in North America

  • Accountability with sales leaders to drive key performance metrics of bookings and pipeline to help grow the healthcare business in North America

  • Develop and contribute to a healthcare industry point of view tied to palo alto offerings for both current and future healthcare industry use cases

  • Coach and enable healthcare team to utilizing standard methodologies, playbooks for the healthcare vertical 

  • Help Present, Speak, and Drive Thought Leadership at Industry Events and Consortia(i.e HIMMS, Healthcare ISAC, Council Meetings, etc.)

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 15+ years in healthcare and/or cybersecurity industry.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare provider market and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex cybersecurity solutions to C-level audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Networks' products and architectural solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree (MBA ).
  • Approximately 40% travel required

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $186,000 - $278,000/YR.
