The Certified Mobile Research Nurse is a Registered Nursing per diem/PRN position for PCM Trials. A PCM Trials CMRN is responsible for setting appointments within the required visitation window to complete mobile visits for study participants. You'll work cooperatively with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site personnel to complete visits and submit accurate source documentation.

We are looking for CMRNs to visit a Pediatric population for mobile visits:

  • Subject location is Lake Lure

  • Minimum 2yrs experience with Peds phlebotomy

  • Experience must be current within the past 2yrs

  • Visits must be complete during standard business hours

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Two (2) years' experience in starting and performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw, IVs, and Subcutaneous Injections (date of last practice within 6 months, preferred)

  • One (1) year of experience collecting vital signs, ECG, urine samples, and performing urine pregnancy tests

  • Must have and maintain a current, unrestricted license as a RN in the state(s) of practice

  • Skilled at collecting accurate, detailed patient records including documentation of medical history and medication charting

  • Excellent observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Must have and maintain a current CPR certification

  • Must have and maintain a current TB Test

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

  • Licensed driver with good driving record and automobile insurance in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and in good repair

  • An ability to speak other languages

    • Certified and registered by ARRT in Bone Densitometry – RT(R)(M)(BD), preferred.
    • Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096 for life support training requirement, required.
    • Applicable state license, required.
  • Additional Skills required:  Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Prepares patient for procedures. Operates mammography equipment.
