Responsible for pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Follows standard operating procedures and ensures laboratory safety, quality and regulatory requirements are met. Day-to-day lead and acts as the point person in the absence of a supervisor. Collect laboratory specimens, as needed. Process lab specimens and perform clinical laboratory testing, including manual and automated methods, in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures. Demonstrate skill in use of equipment relevant to position. Demonstrate critical and independent judgement in decision-making and problem solving. Demonstrate personal commitment to the principles, values, and ethics of the organization to promote a positive work environment. Seek personal learning opportunities. Serves as a laboratory resource to other health care personnel and collaborates with other departments across the enterprise. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Laboratory or Biological Sciences required.
Two years of laboratory related experience preferred.

Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
If working in North Dakota and performing medical imaging or radiation therapy procedures, licensure with the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMIRT) is required.
If working in South Dakota, consideration will be given to registry eligible candidates obtaining ARRT within six months of hire into position.
In the state of Iowa, all technologists must have a permit to practice through the Iowa Department of Public
Health in order to practice in the state of Iowa
If working at some clinic locations, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification may be required within the first eight weeks of hire into the position.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary is required.
