P osition Summary:
The selected candidate will provide day-to-day operations for various hospital departments and be assigned projects to further the strategy of the Hospitals. He/she will implement the strategy of the CEO and COO and will manage their assigned departments efficiently and effectively to maximize the quality of services and the profits of the hospital. The individual will also be enrolled in our corporate Leadership Development classes to further their development as a junior executive and prepare the indivual to become a COO within UHS.
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Knowledge: Knowledge of the financial implications of decisions including budgeting and forecasting for a limited number of departments and/or projects is required.
Skills: Must be detail oriented and able to focus on nuances of multiple hospital operations. Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including physicians, managers, and employees is required.
Education: Master's degree required (MBA, MHA or related program).
Work experience:
- Hospital management experience at a mid level (3-7 yrs)
- Acute Care Hospital Experience required
- Must be open to Relocation
- Strong Project Management experience
- Strong critical thinking skillset
- Administrative Residency or Fellowship a plus
