PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The HR Specialist Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for faculty and staff positions. This includes developing job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating and conducting interviews, facilitating selection processes, and extending offers. The specialist also ensures a smooth onboarding experience by coordinating pre-employment requirements, conducting orientation sessions, and serving as a key point of contact for new hires. The role requires close collaboration with hiring managers to ensure alignment with departmental needs and compliance with applicable policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), and organizational procedures related to recruitment and onboarding.
This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking position. While some tasks are repetitive, the role also involves frequent interruptions/being able to switch gears - so the ideal candidate must be able to adapt, forward-think, and execute effectively to support and enhance the recruitment process. This individual should be detail-oriented, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate the ability to prioritize and stay organized, and exhibit excellent customer service skills as they are first point contact for the new hire experience.
Description of Duties
DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Manages Full Cycle Recruitment, the Pre-Employment and Pre-Onboarding processes.

Rotates to BHC East Campus for recruitment purposes, directed by the HR Director.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist with the recruitment process for assigned position openings. Focus on supporting recruiters, hiring managers, utilizing data to help with hiring strategies, and ensuring positions are filled in a timely manner with the right talent to support business needs.
