Position: Recruiting Coordinator - Human Resources - Confidential Definition: Under general supervision, the Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for coordinating onboarding recruitment and actively assists in coordination of recruitment activities for positions that are largely unique to the hospital, clinical, licensed and other healthcare staff. Essential Functions: Facilitates and leads the entire onboarding & new hire orientation process for new employees & contractors. In conjunction with the Employee Health works to ensure completion of all new hire pre-employment requirements. Reviews and makes recommendations for improving employee orientation process and implements recommendations upon approval from management. Assists with various recruitment processes, including the development and posting of recruitment announcements and other related documents, reviews and screens employment applications and determines eligibility. Proactively sources candidates from internal ATS, Monster, etc. Schedules and facilitates candidate interviews. Identifies and attracts quality candidates by participating in campus recruiting, career fairs, on-line job fairs, community network events, and social media. Researches, recommends and implements recruiting & onboarding processes and programs to support “employer of choice” vision. Additional Duties: Performs other job-related duties as required. Employment Standards: Completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in human resource management, business administration, public administration or a closely related field preferred, AND ; One (1) year of experience in a substantially similar role, OR ; Equivalent combination education/experience. Society for Human Resources (SHRM) or Human Resources Institute (HRI) designated certification is desirable. Knowledge of: Principles and practices in staffing and recruiting healthcare professionals, including nurse and physician requirements Job specifications and benefits to provide candidates with accurate information. Ability to: Match candidate experience, knowledge and education to the needs of the Hospital recruiting efforts. Work with the Human Resources Manager as appropriate to assist with marketing of positions. Write, compose and edit recruiting advertisements. Analyze, prepare and present data in familiar formats, using statistics to illustrate points and justify decisions. Overview
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to the Human Resources department and interacts with a wide range of employees and leaders throughout the organization. In this role, the Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day support of HR policies and programs covering the following HR functions: onboarding, benefits, training, personnel changes, record retention and confidential file management, compiling HR management reports, assisting system and HRIS data management. In this role you would be the first point of contact for employees regarding HR related inquiries, so having the ability to learn about a variety of HR related services will help to effectively assist employees, while directing them to others who can give the detailed resolutions needed.
R OLE AND A CTIVITY
- Facilitate onboarding and lead new hire orientation.
- Partners with IT and Business Support to ensure appropriate equipment is requested and setup is complete for each new hire prior to their first day.
- Verifies I-9 documentation and completes I-9 forms. Tracks and initiates updates as necessary
- Coordinate, facilitate, and audit HR processes including E-Verify, LOA's/STD, New hire, and termination paperwork.
- Under guidance and in line with policies and procedures, update and process employee hires, personnel changes and separations in our HRIS system.
- Prepare severance agreements
- Respond to routine inquiries: benefits, HR/corporate policies and procedures, and provide the appropriate resources to address the issues in question.
- Provide support for employee benefits.
- Partner with UKG UMS benefits team, insurance brokers, and carriers on benefit inquiries and escalations.
- Review carrier discrepancy reports and ensure any fallouts are addressed before the next file run.
- Administer LOA benefit premium payments through a 3rd party direct billing portal and prepare benefit termination letters for those no longer eligible for company benefits or non-payment of premiums.
- Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of human resource files, records, and documentation, in accordance with defined policies and procedures. Assists with organizing the HR Shared drive and additional HR Teams pages.
- Prepare and coordinate monthly HR Training for factory HR teams.
- Conduct research and gather data for purposes of internal and external audits, ad hoc requests, communication distribution requests.
- Provides recommendations for various process improvements and efficiencies within the HR Administration team.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and an HRIS system (such as UKG)

The pay scale for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The pay scale disclosed below has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The pay scale for employees currently in this role is $50,000-$60,000 per year depending on experience.
