**Position Summary**
HSE Business Partner - West Coast. The HSE Business Partner is directly responsible for the overall Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and is responsible for ensuring HSE procedures are being complied within all business unit operations within their assigned market (CA, NM, AZ, NV, ID, MT, CO, WY). Supporting 1 Division (Division 9) Regions and approximately 700 retail pharmacies.
The HSE Manager will proactively prevent colleagues from being injured and will support their market to ensure a safety-first culture. This will be achieved by leading HSE implementation of HSE Programs, Policies and Procedures. A continuous improvement mindset must be in place with efforts on driving leading indicators. Provide guidance and lead by example when supporting our colleagues and leadership team. Utilize Behavior Based Safety Program to create a strong proactive safety-first culture. Provide solution-based feedback to address behavioral opportunities, hazard recognition programs, building assessments, and gap analysis. Take an active role in Gemba walks, leading the HSE initiative of continuous improvement. Provide strong leadership and proactive involvement in all leadership meetings, incorporating a one team approach to business success and colleague safety. Champion the powered industrial truck training and certification program. Actively review all internal HSE KPI's and reports and direct initiatives and improvement strategies accordingly. Manage all incident and injury investigations and educate site leadership to ensure appropriate root cause analysis, and hierarchy of controls are in place. Ensure an above reproach stance on all federal, state, and local HSE regulations. The HSE Manager will be responsible for communications with regulatory agencies and collaborate with corporate HSE and Legal team. This position will interact with business partners to address compliance needs. The HSE Manager will utilize project management skills to initiate, develop, and drive compliance related projects to ensure completion. This HSE Manager will also have in-depth knowledge of major federal safety & environmental regulations and their applicability to assigned site.

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$60,300.00 - $132,600.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

JOB DESIGNATION
The Health, Safety & Environment Specialist 3 provides expertise in the development, implementation and management of effective Safety, Health and Environment programs/systems. Routinely analyzes hazardous situations and identifies alternative courses of action.
JOB CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the development, documentation, improvement, and audit of site environmental, health and safety systems to assure conformance and effectiveness.
- Determine plant environmental, safety, and health requirements and analyze for compatibility with corporate practices.
- Provides expertise in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Health, Safety and Environmental programs/procedures
- Performs audits and safety inspections of work environments, processes, and operations in compliance with government regulations and industry standards
- Ensures all applicable registrations, permits, and licenses are in place and current;
- Lead activities in support of Kaizen, Safety Star Point Teams (Safety Committee), Emergency Response Teams, and other project teams.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's Degree is REQUIRED (preferred in Environmental, Health, and Safety)
- Years of experience: Minimum 5+ years of relevant Health, Safety, and Environment regulations/standards experience
Required Skills:
- Professionally recognized safety or environmental certification (ASP, GSP, CSP, CIH, CHMM).
- RCRA Hazardous Waste Management training in accordance with 40 CFR 262.34.
- DOT training in accordance with 49 CFR 172.700-704.
- 40 hour initial and 8-hour refresher training in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER).
- ISO 14001 experience.
- Knowledge of SAP, Benchmark Gensuite, HumanTech and/or other EHS-related software.

The Client Site Safety Associate Manager supports offsite and client-based operations by executing field audits, tracking compliance, managing training and documentation, and facilitating incident response and drug/alcohol testing. This role ensures personnel meet all safety and client readiness requirements before mobilization and remain compliant throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Execution and Oversight
+ Conduct site-level audits, safety observations, and compliance verifications at client sites.
+ Ensure employees and subcontractors meet all client-specific safety requirements and Accenture HSE standards.
+ Facilitate field-level toolbox talks, inspections, and emergency readiness reviews.
