Responsibilities-
• Conduct advanced and exploratory analytics, generate actionable insights and resources to strategically design and/or enhance pay for performance programs;
• Collaborate and work closely with stakeholders to design and evaluate Value Based Payment programs. Example areas include hospital and physician Accountable Care Organization (ACO) programs, Episodes of Care/Bundle programs, Nephrology, and Oncology Medical Home;
• Apply robust and appropriate statistical and clinical rigor using advanced analytic techniques including but not limited to risk adjustment, episode analytics (ETG and Prometheus), statistical modeling, power analysis, and matched case control studies;
• Build financial models for new FFV programs and build and manage annual reconciliation for pilot programs;
• Derive actionable insights from healthcare data (claims, clinical, pharmacy, externally sourced) to engage and enable our provider/clinical partners;
• Support IM/IT to deploy the actionable insight into accessible solutions for our provider/clinical partners;
• Present analytic findings and recommendations to non-technical business partners and leadership to drive data driven strategies; and
• Explore innovative solutions to business questions/problems.

Qualifications-
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Information Science, or a related degree;
• 5 years of experience in a related occupation;
• Experience working with healthcare and insurance industry, analytics/data science expertise and value-based program expertise required to support Pay-for-performance strategy;
• Experience conducting healthcare analytics or value-based care research;
• Experience extracting, transposing, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data (databases may contain millions to hundreds of millions of records) housed in Teradata and Databricks using SQL and SAS/R/Python and output through advanced visualization tools including, but not limited to, Tableau/R/Python;
• Experience with: ACO, bundles, and episodes;
• Experience with: Statistics (formulating and executing appropriate confidence intervals, power analysis, bootstrapping, and regression modeling);
• Experience with: Medical Economics and healthcare financial modeling;
• Hands on experience (medical claims data, clinical data, pharmacy data, and eligibility data,) including working with healthcare coding systems (CPT, ICD-9-10, HCPCS, LOINC, DRG, and APC);
• Experience developing self-service dashboards including but not limited to AWS, Databricks, Tableau, R, Python;
• Experience supporting and enhancing analytics Data Warehouses;
• Experience consistently delivering on-time while managing multiple projects at the same time;
• Experience successfully navigating and contributing to a highly matrixed environment; and
• Experience using advanced analytic techniques including but not limited to risk adjustment, episode analytics (ETG and Prometheus), statistical modeling, power analysis, and matched case control studies.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 96,000 - 160,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
