Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload in which you provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy on-site to children ages 0-5 and families.
- Utilize evidence-based practice models to ensure the efficacy and quality of treatment.
- Foster collaborative relationships with families, employing a strength-based approach to support therapeutic progress.
- Proactively engage with schools and other child-serving systems as necessary, ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of care.
- Complete all required documentation in a professional and timely manner.
- Valid license or limited permit in the state of New York required (MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, MHC, LMFT, MFT)
- 2 years’ experience in delivering therapy to young children and families.
We are seeking a candidate with a warm, empathetic, and engaging demeanor who will connect with families while respecting parents’ expertise regarding their own children. Cultural competence is highly valued, enhancing the candidate’s ability to relate to the client base. Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities, as well as proficient documentation and writing skills, are essential. Two evenings, or one evening and one Sunday are required weekly.
This position can be filled as full or part time and is based in Far Rockaway.
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000
