As a Global Sr. Procurement Category Manager, you will create and implement sourcing strategies for at Security Technology category and collaborate with internal business partners and suppliers to drive efficiencies, reduce risks, and costs for Amazon. - Manage Security Technology category within the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) domains
- Establish category sourcing strategies, lead cross-functional strategic sourcing teams, negotiate with regional/global suppliers and execute contracts to optimize Amazon's competitive position
- Achieve cost savings through bidding and negotiations
- Plan and execute effective negotiation strategies with vendors.
- Analyze category data and metrics to drive Procurement category strategies
- Understand trends in customers' needs and concerns, across categories and regions, to influence customers' priorities

- Lead supplier selection process across multiple categories, internal teams, and regions, and create longer-term supplier selection strategies for management

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 10+ years' experience in a Procurement organization performing sourcing, vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding
- 5+ years' experience developing category strategies and pricing models as a Project Manager who can prioritize workload and manage complex projects within cost and schedule

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Experience with technical and thought leadership surrounding water and wastewater infrastructure systems
+ Experience in a client-facing role
+ 11+ years of infrastructure assessment experience including hydraulic modeling, master planning, and data analysis. Experience or familiarity with asset management and condition assessment is a plus.
+ Experience leading technical tasks and project teams and executing water distribution and wastewater collection system studies and assessments that involve system operations modeling, optimization techniques, risk & resiliency evaluations, capital and life-cycle cost analyses, CIP prioritization
+ Proficient with data analyses, analytics, and visualization
+ Proficient with report writing and PowerPoint presentations

Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (Preferably in Physics, Engineering, Finance, Business, or Mathematics, however non-technical degrees will definitely be considered) or 10+ years equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of capacity planning, production planning, operations planning, or inventory planning or related experience (e.g. forecasting, planning, optimization, etc.)
- Demonstrated project management and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in public cloud sector
- MBA or other Master's in a related field AND 3+ years program or product management

- BA/BS degree (Preferably in Physics, Engineering, Finance, Business, or Mathematics, however non-technical degrees will definitely be considered) or 10+ years equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of capacity planning, production planning, operations planning, or inventory planning or related experience (e.g. forecasting, planning, optimization, etc.)
- Demonstrated project management and analytical skills
- Working-level knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in public cloud sector
- MBA or other Master's in a related field AND 3+ years program or product management
- Advanced forecast modeling techniques including safety stock optimization and sensitivity analysis

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for land development, residential, industrial, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, educational and recreational design technical tasks including, but not limited to: conceptual site layout; utility design; roadway design; site grading design; soil erosion and sedimentation control design; floodplain studies; providing permitting and entitlement support; preparation of engineer's opinions of probable cost; assistance with preparation of proposals; and construction support.
Accountability and Duties:
  • Prepares engineer's opinion of probable cost
  • Prepares design calculations
  • Maintains a good relationship with clients
  • Prepares permit applications for applicable municipal agencies
  • Responsible for preparation of feasibility studies, master planning and engineering, design of water, sanitary and storm sewer, paving and detention facilities
  • Assists in preparation of proposals for engineering services
  • Reviews and prepares project specifications
  • Assists in production of final construction drawings
  • Mentors and assists with training Staff Engineers
  • Delegates specific project components to Staff Engineers
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
  • Responsible for project schedules and time completion of projects
  • Participates in business development activities
  • Professionally represent the firm at client and municipal meetings/hearings
  • Prepares and monitors project budgets, billing and assists with A/R
  • Perform other duties incidental to the work described herein.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
  • Engineer-In-Training required
  • Valid driver's license.
Qualification Requirements :
  • 3+ years of experience, Passed FE, Strong Understanding of local governmental public and private development codes, AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
Education and/or Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Outstanding writing, communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office. Unanet a plus
  • Must be fluent in the English language

TNP has an immediate opening in our Allen, TX office for a (Civil Engineer) Project Manager to join and lead an established design team. The Project Manager is responsible for the production and management of design for a variety of public/private sector projects with an emphasis on site development but also including municipal public works infrastructure and transportation improvements projects. The Project Manager position provides an excellent opportunity for personal & professional growth as well as the opportunity to have a leadership role in the growth and development of the design team to which they are assigned.

Responsibilites:

  • Managing the technical analysis, design, and production of a variety of site development, public works, and private development improvement projects
  • Organizing and scheduling work to accomplish project goals within established budgets and timelines
  • Organizing and directing the efforts of a project team, including engineers, technicians, and sub-consultants
  • Preparing proposals, reports, opinions of cost, and construction documents
  • Perform project management in accordance with TNP standards and guidelines
  • Coordination with other disciplines
  • Construction administration
  • Maintaining strong overall financial performance
Requirements

Education/Certification
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • Current registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain State of Texas P.E. certification within one year
Professional
  • Responsive and service-oriented to our clients
  • Design proficiency with site grading, roadway, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer improvements is required
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in site development design preferred
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Excel is required
