Job Description
The Director, Planning & Replenishment is responsible for working cross functionally with leadership at the Corporate, Market, and Region levels. They will lead and develop team(s) consisting of a manager and (10+) planners and analysts to meet or exceed goals on strategic Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Lead & Develop a team of planners and analysts. Ensure the teams work collaboratively and effectively to provide a strong experience to customers and meet key metrics
+ Ensure processes and tools are efficient and sustainable.
+ Lead the development and implementation of planning & replenishment process
+ Manage the execution of supplier and product assortment initiatives
+ Develop Integrant Planning Capabilities including but not limited to: demand planning, replenishment, supplier engagement, S&OP, S&OE
+ Working cross functionally, leverage experience and analytical skills
+ Demonstrates well developed influencing skills with the ability to easily connect in a credible manner with cross functional teams
+ Creates and fosters high performance culture, focused on engagement, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement with a customer focus.
**REQUIRED EDUCATION:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree sufficient to successfully perform essential job functions required.
**REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:**
+ Supply Chain or Procurement expertise in the operational/field setting.
+ 7+ years management/professional experience required. (7+ years preferred)
+ Significant Supply Chain experience within a retail, wholesale or distribution environment preferred
+ 7+ years of demonstrated success in leading people or projects (or combination of both) required
**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:**
+ Experience in leading virtual teams
+ Multi-functional field experience

Overview
The Supply Chain Business Analyst supports Supply Chain through the use of the Children Mercy's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system as well as other related technologies and systems. This individual will have proficient knowledge of the key system platforms, up and down stream connections to supply chain and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders to improve efficiency with system automation, process improvement, and standardization. This includes but isn't limited to the following: •Development and support of Supply Chain metadata •Development and support of the ERP support efforts •Development and support of internal related IS platforms such as Epic/Oracle, Strata, etc. •Development and support of external related/connected IS platforms such as Vizient, GHX, VAMS, etc. Working in conjunction with the Business Systems & Analytics Manager, this individual will assist in the KPI and benchmarking efforts as well as lean process improvement work driving greater value for the entire organization.

**Location**

**Responsibilities**
+ Support procurement with identification of mandatory and recommended prime contract flow-down clauses for incorporation into vendor contract templates, and work with Procurement Managers to develop/review project-specific templates.
+ Review project contract templates for adherence to project requirements.
+ Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.
+ Provide as-needed training on negotiation, contracts, and terms and conditions.
+ Assist in negotiating high-risk contracts for various projects.
+ Provide negotiation support to project teams and operate as initial legal review.
+ Serve as a liaison between the procurement team and project attorney(s) to negotiate and resolve commercial issues and move contracts forward to execution.
+ Resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues.
+ Develop and maintain vendor relationships and manage supplier-specific vendor template negotiations.
+ Support procurement staff meetings and provide legal communication to the team as needed.
+ Interface with business, legal, risk, tax, suppliers, and internal procurement departments.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain management or equivalent degree or military/education experience combination.
+ 10+ years of experience in Engineering, Construction or equivalent work/field.
+ Knowledge of equipment and materials common in Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects.
+ Legal training or transactional/commercial management experience of 5+ years preferred .
+ 8+ years negotiation experience.
+ Detail-oriented, highly motivated, effective time management skills, and excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
+ Advanced knowledge in risk evaluation, claims mitigation, and dispute resolution preferred.
+ Strong leadership and coaching skills.
+ Must be willing to travel periodically for periods of less than a week.

**Location**

**Responsibilities**
+ Develop, review and negotiate terms and conditions of supplier contracts. Manage supplier contracts and supplier relationships, to ensure our suppliers meet our standards, specifications and client requirements.
+ Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier's reputation and history.
+ Ensure material buyers are purchasing the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specifications and drawings. Manage the life cycle of the items you are procuring for your project.
+ Prepare/issue Request for Proposals (RFP's) and evaluate vendor/subcontractor proposals to identify vendors/subcontractors who meet project constraints of budget and schedule at the estimating, execution and site purchasing levels.
+ Assist in the development of company-wide procurement templates.
+ Leverage vendors/subcontractors across multiple procurements to create cost savings to projects.
+ Confer with staff, users and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
+ Utilize logistics team in monitoring shipments to ensure goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
+ Assist in negotiating high-risk contracts for various projects.
+ Work to resolve escalated, complex, or disputed contract issues for your project & support procurement staff meetings and provide legal communication to the team as needed.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management or related field with at least 5+ years' experience in contracts & supply chain functions. We encourage military and veterans to apply. If no degree, a minimum of 8 years in supply chain functions and contracts functions as outlined above are required.
+ Supply chain experience must include working with the RFP process, contract development/negotiation, & procurement execution. Experience working with engineers, estimators, buyers, logistics and expediting in the procurement process.
+ 4 or more years negotiation experience with suppliers with experience reviewing and managing contracts and researching new vendors to utilize on projects.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel) general software knowledge of databases to create contracts. SAP experience a plus.
+ Highly motivated skilled communicator (both written and verbal), with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative to get the job done right the first time.
