Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

**_Job Summary_**
The Manager, Inventory Management leads the site's Inventory Management team and oversees the stocking optimization and inventory planning in the facility through a team of Supervisors and other professionals. The Manager contributes to the facility's profitability through managing supplier costs and driving operational improvements. As a primary liaison to the Souring function, the Manager provides key input into supplier negotiations, demand planning and forecasting and also translates operational changes in the broader distribution network into requirements for the facility.
**_Responsibilities_**
+ Oversees the site's Inventory Management team by setting short- and long-term objectives, directing tasks for individual teams and professionals, and providing guidance on complex issues. Leads regular meetings with Supervisors to ensure alignment.
+ Drives the profitability and operating margins of the facility by implementing supplier contracts with minimal costs. Regularly monitors revenues and costs at the supplier level and assesses opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
+ Based on expert knowledge of the facility's operations and analyses and reporting conducted by managed team, provides inputs into supplier negotiations executed by Sourcing teams. Ensures that supplier agreements are aligned to the capabilities and economics of the facility.
+ Provides input and feedback into the business unit's demand planning and forecasting based on inventory planning and supplier relations.
+ Evaluates the impact of changes in standard operating procedures, network planning and major supplier agreements on the facility's operations. Coordinates with Managers, Warehouse Operations and other site leaders in order to modify operations to meet new requirements and customer commitments.
+ Evaluates performance of teams and of direct reports, providing regular feedback and development opportunities. Participates in people management activities including performance reviews, recruiting and onboarding, and talent management.
+ Directs regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure high inventory accuracy and to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues.

The Supply Chain Operation Team for AMZ/Costco accounts is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operation for HE/IT categories (TV, Sound bar, monitor and memory products) for the two respective accounts as supply chain functional experts. This team works closely with sales, product marketing, SCM and logistics teams to not only support achieving business goals (sales targets), but also to ensure the operational processes in place are most optimal to maximize inventory efficiently, reduce cost, fulfill customer PO in-time and minimize stock-out. This team also works directly with customers, requiring relationship building with key stakeholders on customer side, to collaborate on key SCM and logistics strategic initiatives and programs. The Analyst role on this Supply Chain Operations team will be tasked to own updating, analyzing and publishing weekly supply chain reports, including by-Account, by product PO trackers (Order to Delivery status update), Demand & Supply Analysis (using GSCM data), and weekly PO management. - Carry out day to day activities related to the strategic sourcing goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved
- Responsible for negotiations for best possible cost service guarantee and develop winwin strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers
- Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning
- Implement supplier agreements/contracts when beneficial by working with crossfunctional stakeholders and suppliers to reach agreement on contract terms and conditions
- Generating and implementing efficient sourcing
- Proactively identify supply base issues to minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and utilize emerging opportunities
- Maintain and develop supplier relationships (supplier meetings, conferences, etc.)
- Develop a supplier management program with key suppliers including metrics, performance goals and improvement initiatives
- Establishing purchasing policies and ensures compliance within the department
- Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of procurement processes throughout the organization
- Perform cost savings initiatives and risk analyses (financial, legal, etc.) to avoid issues and limit negative impacts
- Develop and conduct annual contract assessments for upcoming renewals
- Controls, plans, directs and manages the supply chain (production planning and purchasing)
- Responsible for achieving all demand, supply, inventory KPIs.
- Oversees the procurement of all raw material, equipment, packaging, consumable items and indirect supplies and services to ensure adequate inventories for continuous, uninterrupted production schedules and engineering projects.
- Identify and develop new sources of supply.
- Documents entire demand and supply planning process and follows the standardized procedures
- Provides data and actively participates in Planning process meetings
- Oversees Production Planning activities, including Demand Planning, Scheduling, and Production Planning
- Responsible for leading the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning cycle
