Position Purpose

This position is responsible for the production support of PLEXIS Clients and software products. Specializing in the coordination, development, and delivery of reports, data integrity scripts, ad hoc queries, data extracts, and API middleware. This position may provide suggestions and/or recommendations to PLEXIS Development for T-SQL code corrections, performance tuning, or database design changes. Takes directions from the VP of Product Development as well as contributing to the support team in a constructive manner.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties
•Develop efficient, well-structured, T-SQL code.
•Utilize effective and efficient troubleshooting techniques, processes, and patterns to solve complex analytical problems.
•Assist in implementation and configuration of PLEXIS Software.
•Attempt to resolve client technical issues with PLEXIS Products and related tools.
•Analyze and troubleshoot existing T-SQL code to correct errors and improve performance. Inform PLEXIS Development of issues identified and make recommendations for change where appropriate.
•Write T-SQL code (stored procedures, triggers, scripts, views, indexes etc.) as part of a support team to resolve client issues.
•Develop and modify SSRS and Crystal Reports for PLEXIS software products. Either as part of the base product, or custom development to meet unique client needs.
•Analyze and mature existing software solutions or tools.
•Create technical documentation, for internal and external entities, which accurately describes the functionality developed.
•Troubleshoot and resolve client issues with PLEXIS Products and related tools.
•Escalate software bugs or enhancements to PLEXIS Development with thorough issue descriptions when appropriate.
•Possess strong people skills.
•Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Successfully prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
•Ability to work well autonomously and cooperatively.
•Coordinate with PLEXIS Development to provide code fixes when appropriate.
•Provide timely follow-up and status updates to clients, as issues are processed and resolved.

Qualifications
•Two years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration or development (SQL Server Management Studio, Configuration Manager, Integration and Reporting Services). This may include experience developing queries, scripting, setting up triggers, indexing, database tuning, troubleshooting, etc.
•Experience leveraging AI to assist in code development process.
•Experience developing in .NET preferred but not required.
•Experience in Windows systems administration, server implementation, or troubleshooting.
•Experience in the development and implementation of T-SQL code or Client Server & Windows based applications.
•Experience in any of the following: NHibernate, NServiceBus, IIS, MSMQ, SSRS, SSIS, X12.
•Understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
•Knowledge of best practices to perform software design, leveraging the methodologies of software systems analysis, design, testing.
•Experience creating technical documentation preferred.
•Experience or Knowledge of HIPAA or PCI compliance preferred.
•Deadline driven accountability and time management skills.
•Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the drive to ensure customer satisfaction with each interaction.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
