As an Auto & Diesel Mechanic with Transdev Fleet Services, you will help maintain and repair light-duty, heavy-duty and small engine vehicles to ensure readiness & safety. Other major job duties include:
+ Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
+ Diagnose and perform all vehicle and equipment repair phases, including brakes, suspensions, engines, drivetrains, transmissions, and other repairs.
+ Responsible for providing maintenance, service and repairs to gas, diesel and electric powered manufacturers, that include: John Deere, Toro, Briggs and Stratton, Kubota, Bobcat, Gravely, Perkins engines, and Isuzu engines in a multifaceted shop environment.
+ Provide preventative maintenance and repairs to a variety of equipment that include: small farm tractors, lawnmowers, ATV's/UTV', snow removal equipment, and towed equipment.
+ Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
+ Assist with road calls and emergency services as necessary.
Qualifications for Automotive & Diesel Mechanic
+ A valid driver's license is required.
+ At least 3 years of automotive or diesel maintenance & repair employment experience or a combination of technical school education & experience.
+ Possess a mechanic's tool set
+ ASE certifications are preferred. Must be willing to participate in the company ASE certification program (company training, testing, and bonuses provided!)
