Principal Accountabilities

Warehouse Operations
1. Reviews shipping and receiving flow and insure inventory accuracy throughout the day to ensure proper resources are deployed to meet distribution requirements.
2. Reviews and communicates customer requirements to ensure product is being shipped/received according to instructions.
3. Communicates with corporate personnel regarding order status, compliance issues, and inventory status.
4. Assists with tracking performance measures and other data.
5. Ensures warehouse staff are at work stations on time as assigned.
6. Communicates status of warehouse goals/standards and takes appropriate action.
7. Conducts random quality control audits of inbound and outbound shipments to ensure compliance.
8. Train new hires

Safety/Housekeeping
1. Enforces safety programs.
2. Ensures assigned areas of warehouse are clean and orderly and that inventory is in proper locations
3. Actively participate in 5S program (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize and Sustain).
4. Make certain employees perform daily forklift checklist and forklift log notebooks are maintained.

Quality and Environmental Management Systems
1. Ensures team is trained and utilizes Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001-2000) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
2. Ensures systems are continually improving.

Relationship Management

1. Responsible for hiring, motivating, evaluating, developing group/department personnel.
2. Provides coaching and mentoring to team members.
3. Advises management and provides recommendations on personnel and problem issues ( that require escalation).
4. Builds strong relationships with peers and Senior Managers to best meet company goals and objectives.
5. Manages and leverages relationships with vendors for a specific product/service (best price, best product, etc).
6. Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations.

Department Management

1. Operates within budgetary constraints, participates in the development of annual budget forecasts; participates in updating and reconciling operating and budget plans as required.
2. Develops and maintains written departmental standards and procedures.
3. Directly contributes to development of tactical and annual operating plans, defining goals and objectives for the group.

Position Purpose

The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $31.00 per hour (.80 compa ratio) and $ 39.00 per hour (1.10 compa ratio). Please note that this position's salary range may include multiple levels. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Other duties may be assigned.Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities.Ensure the accuracy of shipments and inventory.Monitoring work performance of direct reports.Liaison with supply chain and carriers / customers.Coordinate with other departments to ensure production is supplied.Train new employees who start with the company.Conduct inventory counts to ensure accurate inventory.Daily walk throughs of the warehouses, inspection of the warehouse ground.Evaluate and report on warehouse productivity.Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.Ensure FIFO of inventory is being conducted and administered.Other duties as assigned.RequirementsQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
