This person will be overseeing a product-aligned pod of 34 data engineers that combines technical expertise with leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and product-aligned thinking. Skills and Requirements

ROLE :

The Lead Project Engineer has oversight of all engineering and engineering-related commercial aspects during the delivery of a project or tender. Under the Project Manager, their purpose is to provide leadership, co-ordination and expertise to the Project team, taking control of high-impact aspects of project delivery.

DUTIES/TASKS :

• Manage functional reports for the purpose of executing project or tendering works - including allocating work, progress monitoring, performance appraisals, etc.
• Review project Scope of Work and communicate it to all department functional reports

• Report work-package status to direct department functional manager and assigned Project Manager

• Develop and maintain project Work Requests, Cost-Time-Resource estimates, and Criticality Ratings

• Develop offshore execution and schedule strategies to support the specific project or tendering requirements

Education:

+ Understanding the customer specification requirements and ensuring their integration into the Mechanical Flow Diagram (MFD)
