Global Lease Administration Manager

We're seeking someone to join our team as a Global Lease Administration Manager. This role will support both regional and global lease administration functions, play a key role in overseeing lease administration while collaborating with various teams to support the Firm's real estate strategies. In the Corporate Services division, we empower our businesses by creating collaborative workplace solutions and commercial services that enhance the employee and client experience, while optimizing the value of our sourcing and third-party lifecycle to enable the Firm to do-and-win business. This is a Director level position within the Corporate Real Estate Job Family which is responsible for overseeing the management, workplace design and acquisition/disposition activities of the Firm's properties (lease or purchase). What you'll do in the role:

  • Oversee all aspects of lease compliance, including accurate and timely rent payments to landlords, collection of tenant improvement allowances, and reconciliation of operating expenses.
  • Bring strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of lease terms and obligations, and experience managing lease data and critical dates.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with internal teams such as accounts payable, finance, legal, and real estate teams, as well as external landlords and vendors.
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity, driving continuous process improvements, and delivering high quality service to stakeholders.
  • Engage with the Transaction Management and Real Estate Legal teams for resolution of any landlord or lease-related issues.
  • Support other strategic real estate projects, including lease audits, select strategic acquisitions of leased office space, integration of new business locations, strategic real estate tax work, development of lease related dashboards and reporting.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA/MS or equivalent experience with at least 4 years of professional experience, preferably including exposure to office leasing, audit practices, and lease administration.
  • Strong accounting, finance, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**About the Role:**
As a CBRE Lease Administration Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting reconciliations for large clients to ensure operating expenses follow lease terms.

Senior Operations Director

As a Senior Operations Director for Lease Administration, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational excellence of the entire Lease Administration department supporting a global financial services client including:
  • Serving as the senior executive relationship manager for client relationship
  • Providing strategic direction to the Lease Administration operations team including growth opportunities
  • Responsible for overall client satisfaction and department performance metrics
  • Leading and developing multiple teams through direct management of five Senior Directors as well as an International support team
  • Establishing department-wide performance standards and implementing quality control measures
  • Creating and executing strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service quality through processes and technologies
  • Developing and managing departmental budgets and resource allocation
  • Establishing best practices and governance frameworks across the Lease Administration function

The Candidate: Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree with at least 15 years of work experience in Lease Administration, Real Estate Operations, or Corporate Real Estate Management
