POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance II performs a variety of the more complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. This position also aids other skilled tradespersons in the completion of complex tasks such as the installation of new equipment and trouble-shooting and repair of building systems and equipment. This position requires detailed knowledge of and the ability to operate and maintain the facility's major mechanical systems such as heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, communication, and fire protection.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High School/GED
  • Experience: 2 years of performing or assisting with Preventative Maintenance of HVAC equipment, not requiring a license i.e.; bearing grease, filter replacement and lubrication of dampers
  • 2 years' experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks.
Other skills/knowledge:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

**JOB OVERVIEW**

The **Electrical Engineer II** will perform the engineering tasks necessary for the development of electrical control system designs for a wide array of products including transit and modernization escalators and moving walks. Expected streams of work will include maintenance and modification of existing electrical systems, assessment of customer specifications for order bound escalators, creation of project specific designs, and new product development. This position requires working in a team environment and may oversee the work of junior engineering staff to ensure product and project deliverables are satisfied. Qualified individual will possess strong project management skills and the ability to execute fluidly in both tactical and strategic workstreams. The person filling this position will interface with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Sales, Field Operations, and Supply Chain personnel.
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
+ Lead technical reviews of escalator orders to ensure equipment is compliant with customer specification as well as any governing authority or jurisdiction requirements. Gather information required to clarify ambiguous points and coordinate activity associated with (internal and external) customer driven changes.
+ Use computer aided drafting software to generate electrical schematics and drawings. Review work executed by junior engineering staff and provide feedback and relevant modifications to ensure product quality and consistency.
+ Execution of custom designs in both hardware (component selection, interface circuitry design) and software of moderate complexity to satisfy product or project requirements. Perform and document power calculations required for modified or customs designs. Execute drawings used by manufacturing and field personnel to build and assemble components. Follow designs through validation and verification through manufacturing and field operations.
+ Selection and generation of bills of materials as required to support product development and/or project specific work.
+ Provide compatibility checks to ensure that components (i.e., drive systems, safety monitoring devices, etc.) will interface correctly with the running escalator system as well as external building electrical systems.
+ Drive implementation of project deliverables to escalator product platforms including adoption of new technologies or product advancements as required by ASME code.
**The ideal candidate** should possess strong technical skills, including the ability to interpret, develop, and edit ladder logic, with additional proficiency in modifying programs in C/C++. Knowledge of computer-aided drafting tools like AutoCAD and EPLAN, as well as personal computer-based systems such as the MS Office Suite, is essential. The ability to read and accurately interpret wiring diagrams and electrical component specifications is crucial. Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in performing power calculations, particularly involving AC drives and inverters, based on specific loading parameters. Advanced knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and programming is an added advantage. The candidate must also demonstrate a proven ability to manage time effectively, complete tasks within deadlines, and coordinate work for junior engineering staff. Leadership qualities, including the ability to work effectively in a team, maintain punctuality and attendance, and exhibit professional business conduct, are essential.

**Annual Base** **Pay Range:**
The hiring range for this role is $96,400.00 to $132,550.00 USD. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate's ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.

Here, you'll perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all levels on the newest and best maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.
As a Technician II at Penske, you are a respected technician. You are trusted to work independently while doing major and minor repairs, performing road tests to diagnose problems and completing maintenance tasks. You set an example and informally mentor new technicians while continuing to grow your skills from learn from other experienced techs and your manager.

**Tuesday- Saturday 2nd shift**
**Main Responsibilities:**
- Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers
- Doing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with little or no supervision and in a timely manner
- Repairing and troubleshooting components such as, engines, transmissions and differentials, turbochargers, fuel system components, etc.
- Keeping your work area clean and safe
- Using Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics
- Learning new skills through Penske's technician training
- Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications:**
- 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
- Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses, ASE Certification, and 608/609 certifications (preferred)
- Experienced using tools of the trade (including diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools)
- Valid driver's license required
- The ability to solve problems
- Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Basic computer skills
- The associate will be required to understand and comply with specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, or other information established by Penske management
- The associate must be able to perform all work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies; including but not limited to the correct selection and use of appropriate tools, PPE, machine guarding, and established best safety practice.
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- As this position requires driving Penske and customer vehicles, it is regulated by the DOT and requires a current driver qualification file to be maintained as required by the role. The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years. Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
- Willingness to travel as necessary within the district (customers' yards, close geographical area and training sites), work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background screening (to include criminal checks, past employment and education) and pass a drug screening.
This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.

Job Summary:
  • As a MOCI Process Specialist for Client, you will collaborate with UX, POs, Internal Customers and Development Teams to manage implementations, data needs, and lead cross product UAT.
  • Provides management/leadership or consultation designed to manage or improve and implement projects and test scenarios that are moderately complex and/or sensitive in scope.
  • Typically involves multi-unit or division impact.
Responsibilities:
  • Works with experienced work teams to discover and implement large strategic objectives that are focused on business growth, process or product improvement, and/or to improve customer satisfaction or channel partner development.
  • Participates, leads, or consults in the project planning process and ensures the project gains the necessary management approval.
  • Ensures projects are developed with realistic outcomes, business objectives and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Monitors ongoing project/program status and maintains communications with business unit leadership and affected stakeholders.
  • Lead cross product testing including being a consultant for the development teams for automated testing scenarios.
  • Maintain test data for data consumers.
  • Training users on complex new functionality.
  • Assist with UX mock-up creation.
  • Assist with Audit Reporting and System security needs.
  • Analyze feedback received from end users to improve quality of automated and integration test scenarios.
Education and Experience:
  • 2 or more years of experience as working with a broad cross section of users
  • 1 or more years of experience writing queries and using data gathering/retrieval tools such as SQL, Python, DataBricks, Tableau, etc
  • Experience working within multicultural teams.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint.
  • Project Management Experience in less complex projects which consists of some or all the following criteria: 5 or less people on a project team, 1 to 2 disciplines involved, 1 to 2 facilities involved, and is determined on budget, revenues generated, and savings achieved.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of various communication skills such as test writing, email, Microsoft Office and virtual training.
  • A self-motivated individual with exceptional organization and commitment to the customer.
  • Effective interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution, both verbal and written.
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible schedules (early morning/evening) when necessary to support global business needs.
  • Fluent in English - verbal and written advanced communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%.
  • Expert knowledge of MOCI and MOCI integrations.
  • Knowledge of the Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP).
