Summary
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to performing diagnostic testing, analysis, and other related duties within the sleep disorders department. May be asked to rotate to other sleep labs to cover staff shortages or fluctuations in patient volume.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(20%)* Calibrates equipment before and after use.
(20%)* Performs patient prep for procedure. (20%)* Sets-up equipment and performs testing and analysis as ordered by the physician.
(20%)* Checks equipment in use on patient makes appropriate adjustments as needed.
(20%)* Collects, analyzes and integrates patient information in order to identify and meet the patientspecific needs (Physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history), and to determine final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician or clinical director and laboratory protocols.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize age specific care in the treatment, assessment, and education of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Provides set-up for Nocturnal Polysomnography (NPSG), Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), all positive airway pressure (PAP) and Oxygen titration, and HST.
Performs PAP mask fitting. Charts procedure and completes appropriate paperwork.
In the event of cardiac, respiratory arrest, or other emergencycalls the code response team or 911.
Documents verbal and written communication with patients and physicians. Attends department meetings.
Informs supervisor of needed supplies in a timely manner. Cleans equipment per policy and procedure after each use.
Maintains neat and orderly work and patient areas.
Scores PSG and CPAP titrations.
Completes Inter-Score Reliability testing monthly with score >= 85%. If score is below 85%, a plan to show that steps have been taken to improve performance and subsequent tests must be completed. Assists with training of new employees by following orientation checklist and overseeing collecting, staging and scoring.
Demonstrates current knowledge of safety precautions for equipment.
Participates in opportunities for staff education in: New employee orientation.
Department/job specific education for new services provided by the department. Participates in and maintains established departmental and hospital quality improvement efforts and quality assurance standards.
Communicates openly and freely with all hospital employees.
Demonstrates competency in Infection Prevention and Control Practices and Policies.

Summary
TheSenior Accountant II is responsible for oversight of HSC's internal controls documentation, creating and maintaining of financial policies and procedures, coordinating with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance, and creating effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations. The Senior Accountant II carries out reviews of the existing internal controls with focus on key controls, in all departments and assesses their design and proposes changes that allow efficient and effective policies. The Senior Accountant II actively engaged in the review of accounting standards to align HSC practices with US GAAP.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for serving as HSC expert on internal controls.
- Will develop an understanding of HSC's processes and internal controls, evaluating and ensuring its compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley, US GAAP).
- Responsible for working with the Functional Leaders in designing, maintaining, and continuously improving the global standard set of internal controls for various sub-processes, and creating exception reports and other systematic tools that allow rapid identification of risks and deficiencies.
- Supports the annual internal control design effectiveness effort and self-assessment efforts.
- Responsible for developing and distributing various communications regarding requirements or changes to the internal control policies.
- Responsible for coordinating with and providing HSC input to the internal and external auditors in their audit of HSC's internal controls.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or related sciences.
- 5 years' experience in a quality related role in a chemical manufacturing environment with processes certified to ISO 9001, ISO 13485, GMP, NSF, etc.
- Ability to understand the quality standards relevant to the industry requirements (e.g., ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, GMP, NSF) and the controls necessary to achieve and maintain compliance with the standards as appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to understand, calculate, establish, and communicate key quality metrics including complaints, complaint frequency, cycle time & audit results.
- Demonstrated experience and results in auditing, conducting root cause failure analysis and FMEA's and identify and drive closure on critical corrective and preventive actions.

Work You'll Do
Throughout the course of the seven-week internship, interns are assigned to one or more client projects where they will receive mentorship and support to help their success on the engagement. Beyond exposure to "real life" projects, the internship also delivers a variety of national and local learning and networking events. In addition, throughout the internship there are ongoing learning events such a lunch and learns, industry/service line spotlights, and regularly scheduled training offerings designed to help our interns develop technical and client service skills. The interns will understand first-hand what a career with Deloitte is like and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Additional social activities are planned throughout the internship period to provide opportunity to network with Deloitte professionals. Interns are expected to adapt to change, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, self-confidence, and leadership qualities and potential . Interns must be team-oriented and able to work collaboratively.
How You'll Grow
Each intern is assigned a mentorship team, including a counselor and onboarding advisor, to help offer guidance throughout the course of the internship. The counselor, typically a manager or senior manager, offers career guidance and feedback. The onboarding advisor is a peer level "buddy" to help answer questions and offer insight into how to make the most of the internship experience. Additional mentors, both formal and informal, will be identified during the internship. These mentor relationships can carry over into the future and offer a great way to stay connected to Deloitte while back at school. There will be formal goal-setting and evaluation processes throughout the internship. Depending on performance and other factors, Discovery interns may have the opportunity to receive a subsequent internship opportunity at Deloitte.
Qualifications
Required:
+ College student with an anticipated graduation date of 2028 with definitive plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
+ For accounting majors , definitive plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location prior to beginning full-time employment
+ Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
+ Strong academic record, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
+ Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
Preferred:
+ Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or above
+ A proven history of collegiate level leadership, such as membership in a campus club or society; strong preference for affiliation with organizations committed to inclusion
+ A proven history of collegiate community service or philanthropic activity

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $28/hour to $32/hour.
