POSITION SUMMARY

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Identifies potential sources for required materials or services and develops and issues Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

  • Receives, reviews, and negotiates, subcontractor proposals. Manages the sources selection process by leading the proposal evaluation team in fact finding, technical evaluations, and cost/price analysis. Negotiates subcontract terms and conditions including estimated cost/price, delivery, quality and performance requirements.

  • Develops and negotiates required special terms, conducts independent cost/price analysis as needed. Documents the entire negotiation process.

  • Develops the subcontract document; reviews it for compliance with Government, Corporate and Company requirements; and obtains management approval prior to issuance to the subcontracts.

  • Leads the subcontract administration team from award through completion to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions, including price, schedule and quality. Negotiates subcontract changes and responds to all formal subcontract inquiries and issues. Provides subcontract status as required.

  • Develops, negotiates, and issues teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and memoranda of understanding.

  • Provides subcontract advice and counsel to program managers, engineering personnel and other related functions such as finance, quality and contract administration.

**Qualifications You Must Have**
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

**Essential Functions**
+ Performs CT imaging procedures with accuracy and efficiency, following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Operates and adjusts CT equipment to optimize image clarity while ensuring patient safety.
+ Prepares patients for CT exams, including screening for contraindications, obtaining accurate medical history, and providing clear instructions. Ensures proper patient positioning to achieve optimal imaging results.
+ Administers contrast media as ordered, following hospital policies and safety guidelines. Monitors patients for potential allergic reactions and takes appropriate action if necessary.
+ Adheres to radiation protection standards by applying ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles to minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and others. Uses shielding and proper scanning techniques to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

+ Assists in interventional CT procedures, including biopsies and drain placements, by preparing sterile fields, assisting radiologists, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure.
+ Responds to emergency situations, including adverse reactions to contrast media, changes in patient condition, or critical imaging requests. Follows hospital protocols and collaborates with medical staff to ensure patient safety.
+ Maintains a clean, organized, and fully stocked work area by managing inventory levels, restocking necessary supplies, and ensuring that all CT equipment and accessories are readily available for use.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
**Qualifications**
+ 2-4 years experience as an X-Ray technologist required
+ 1-2 years CT experience preferred
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Proficiency in CT imaging techniques, contrast administration, and cross-sectional anatomy.
+ Strong understanding of radiation protection principles, ALARA guidelines, and safety protocols.
+ Ability to recognize and respond to emergency patient conditions, including reactions to contrast media.
