Summary

Performs a variety of high-risk obstetric ultrasound examinations and procedures using the established AIUM protocols with moderate degree of individual judgment based on the clinical circumstances and patient conditions. Performs clinical assessment, diagnostic sonography examinations, and synthesizes information with patient's medical history.

Job Duties
  • Records anatomical, pathological and/or physiological data for interpretation by a physician.
  • Maintains electronic patient charts and records to processes sonographic data and other pertinent observations made during the sonogram.
  • Maintains patient information in the ultrasound documentation/reporting system, image storage system, and EMR. Obtains pertinent medical history from record prior to exams and prepares preliminary reports as requested by the physician.
  • Uses independent judgement during the sonographic exam to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings.
  • Selects appropriate transducers, follows guidelines for probe handling and adjusts equipment to optimize the images utilizing the available applications and options on the ultrasound machine, based on fetal position, anatomy, and depth of tissue characteristics.
  • Recognizes equipment malfunctions and takes corrective action when possible.
  • Explains medical studies and procedures to patients so they are well informed regarding the examination.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED and
  • Technical School Diploma Ultrasonography or
  • Associate's Degree Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Ability to maintain compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to implement advanced imaging techniques when medically applicable (3D/4D).
  • Knowledge of various sonography equipment and related applications.
  • Recommends changes to improve efficiency, workflows, and/or patient safety.
  • Ability to independently guide provider for invasive procedures.
  • Experience performing detailed first trimester exams, low risk exams, detailed fetal anatomy surveys and guidance of chorionic villus sampling and amniocentesis procedures.
  • BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association within 90 Days and
  • RDMS-OB/GYN - Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or business discipline.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.

**Responsibilities**
**Key Job Requirements:**
+ Diagnose and repair faulty production and related plant equipment with the minimum amount of supervision using the provided schematics, manuals and drawings. Be able to diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical problems and have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies
+ Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in the form of a requisition in order that spares or replacements can be ordered
+ Be knowledgeable of what and where spare parts are in the storerooms and to observe store rooms withdrawal and return procedure
+ General working knowledge of machine shop equipment
+ Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks
+ Will be expected to maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures
+ Maintain a clean, safe working environment
+ Responsible for additional specific duties related to each shift as assigned by maintenance supervisor
+ Other duties as necessary

This position handles a wide variety of facilities, maintenance, and utilities requirements across a large fulfillment center. ?
**What you'll do:**
+ You will perform maintenance and repair, housekeeping and plumbing, metal fabrication and carpentry to support our fast-paced fulfillment center operations?
+ Ensure that all fulfillment center equipment is operating properly and ensure a safe working environment for all your fulfillment Team Members.
+ Complete periodic and general maintenance tasks throughout the facility - as assigned and according to schedule.
+ Perform daily inspections of conveyor systems, shipping, and packing equipment areas.
+ Maintain accountability for assigned equipment and associated gear list, reducing loss, damage, and defects to zero.
+ Complete repair order and maintain parts usage records.
+ Tackle mechanical and electrical problems, you will visually check, test, and evaluate the condition of components, equipment, and circuits.
+ Follow company procedures.
**What you'll need:**
+ At least 36 months of previous facility maintenance experience
+ (Mechanics and Maintainers, Construction and Engineering, Aviation and Transportation Repair)
+ Must have electrical experience or understanding
+ Demonstrate electrical knowledge of 24v ac/dc control circuits, 120v power & control circuits, and 277v-480v power circuits
+ Experience using appropriate tools and maintenance equipment.
+ Ability to lift 75 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
+ Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination, and good balance to work at ground level, with the ability to climb and work at elevations up to 35 feet above floor level.
+ Interest in math, electricity, shop mechanics, electric motors, and appliances
+ Good at solving problems
+ Understand potential exposure exists to high voltage current, welding equipment, vehicle and equipment lubricants and solvents.
+ Experience with fire system and fire alarm electronic devices.
+ Ability to read, understand & interpret electrical, pneumatic, & plumbing schematics.
+ Experience with conveyor mechanical systems (belts, drives, tracking valves).
+ Experience with VFD motor controllers
+ Experience with motor starters and control cabinet
+ PLC knowledge - input/outputs solving or some programming
+ HVAC - advanced knowledge or experience.
+ Communicate preventative maintenance and repair opportunities as well as issue of resources outside of normal hours when needed, to ensure system performance.
+ Can communicate, make sound decisions, work well under stress.
+ Recognize problems and repair before breakdown occurs
+ Proactive problem solving & mechanical proficiency skills.
+ Ability and willingness to train others
