A full-time, outside sales position responsible for seeking and developing relationships for new business sources both internally and externally. Meet with and interview prospective customers, brokers, NHCs, and other referral sources at homebuilding communities or other convenient locations to collect and analyze customer financial information, advise customers on the risks and benefits of various mortgage products, and help select the appropriate loan program within Lennar Mortgage roadmap. Obtain loan applications from customers and work with them to achieve loan approval.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

Support the Company’s growth through outside sales activities and lead generation

Travel to various communities, realtors’ offices, and other appropriate locations on a regular basis (at least weekly) to solicit new business and/or leads from home builders

Conduct “First Time Homebuyer Seminars” in communities on a regular basis to develop leads and build relationships with New Home Consultants and prospective/current
-
Travel to and participate in builder and realtor functions, status meetings, phase releases, phone banks, special events, to develop and maintain relationships and customer service

Travel to various communities and other appropriate locations to meet with prospective/current customers, explain the Company’s offerings, obtain loan applications and other required documents, and attend closings

Review leads daily and contact prospective customers via telephone and email to set up in-person/virtual meetings

Originate and prepare new loans in accordance with the “Loan Officer” agreement, signed at the time of employment, to ensure all loans meet the guidelines of the Products and Policies manual for upfront

Advise and recommend to the customer regarding the various mortgage loan products based on the customer’s individual need
-
Review interest rates as needed and lock all loans with the borrowers in accordance with the Secondary Marketing Pricing and Rate Lock Policies and Procedures manual, at least fifteen days prior to closing

Provide assistance to New Home Consultants on pre-qualifications of customers to develop a pipeline for outside sales; provide status of loans as needed

Meet or exceed closed loan capture rate, spot loan objectives for the division, and/or other established sales goals as determined by the Division Manager and based on annual business

Maintain reports and notes within origination computer system regarding own prospects and customers to ensure complete exchange of information regarding loan application, loan status, conversations with customers, underwriting, lock in information, monthly projected closings, incentive, and expense

About The Role
Our client is seeking an ambitious, execution-focused Loan Officer with strong project management skills to join their lending team. This position offers the opportunity to independently manage prospective loan transactions, overseeing the full loan lifecycle from intake, structuring, analysis, and underwriting, through final approval, closing, and handoff to servicing and monitoring. Monitoring and Administration
Transition loans to servicing and monitoring teams with complete, accurate data
Track loan maturities and borrower requests

Compliance and Reporting
Assist with impact reporting for philanthropic, federal, and internal stakeholders
Manage data gathering and reporting for grant and credit documentation
Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in finance, business, real estate, economics, or a related field

•Administrative, operational and compliance support provided by Corporate!
Successful Candidate Attributes:
•Proven track record developing referral partner relationships with Realtors, CPA's, Financial Planners, etc.
•Maintains a database of past clients for marketing purposes.
•History of closing at least 3-5 units per month.
Loan Officer Requirements:
•An active NMLS/MLO license (required).
•Strong knowledge of lending regulations and industry best practices.
•Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial information.
•Sales-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving targets.
•Detail-oriented and organized.
•Proficient in relevant software and tools.

ResponsibilitiesEssential Job Functions:
- Organization: Develops and implements strategies, satisfying customer needs through a full array of products and services.
- Coordination: Uses judgment and discretion to ensure uninterrupted flow of business.
- Communication : Communicates well verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers acting as liaison between customer and Companys internal departments to ensure cohesive business flow.
- Equipment : Uses such office equipment as computer terminals, copiers, and FAX machines.
- Physical: Sits and stands for extended time periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges.Must devote substantially more than 50 percent of working hours outside of any Company office, home office, and any other fixed site, meeting with customers and potential customers seeking residential mortgage financing.
Responsibilities:
- Verifies, compiles, and inputs application information for mortgage loans.
- Discuss and advise the client of their home loan options.
- Reviews residential loan application file to verify that application data is complete and meets establishment standards, including type and amount of mortgage applied for, including but not limited to borrower assets, liabilities, and length of employment.
- Informs supervisor of discrepancies in title or survey.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Current, valid NMLS license or appointment in good standing.
- Must have applicable state licensing.
- Two to five years experience are preferred.
- Must also meet one of the following 3 options:
- Actively funding more than 2 loans/month, or
- Xinnix Training completion for Loan Origination required, or
- Origination mentor assigned to new Loan Officer by branch who funds more than 2 loans/month (see PRMG Loan Officer Mentor Agreement).
Skills:
- Ability to make sound judgments on the resolution of service, credit decision, funding, and post-close issues.
- Ability to problem-solve and exercise independent judgment while displaying a high degree of initiative.
- Ability to handle detailed assignments and maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelors degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer or in a similar lending role.
- Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using loan origination software and MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of current market trends, products, and competitors in the lending industry.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., NMLS license) are required.
