About This Job

Axos Bank has an exciting leadership opportunity as we are seeking a Helpdesk Manager! You will manage a team of IT support professionals, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues, developing policies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction, and monitoring performance metrics for improvements.

This position is onsite at our HQ in San Diego, CA. Remote, Hybrid, or Sponsorship options are not available.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage procedures related to user requests, including help desk functions
  • Mentor and support the Helpdesk team, covering customer etiquette, best practices, SLA, CSAT, etc.
  • Perform hands-on fixes like installing and upgrading software/hardware
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders, identify business needs, enforce security standards
  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop solutions and standards
  • Support compliance, documentation, reporting, training
  • Lead, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in IT Support Service environment (banking or Fintech experience a plus)
  • 2+ years in a leadership role
  • Understanding of the ITIL Framework and five core pillars

Description

As a Direct Service Provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive training to individuals or small groups in various areas such as vocational development, mobility, recreation/leisure, self-advocacy, social and interpersonal communication, basic education, computer skills, and other personal goal areas. You will ensure maximum participation of consumers in both site and community-based settings.

In addition, you will provide on-the-job training, support, and monitoring to consumers to help them maintain stability in their jobs. You will also develop professional relationships with employers and communicate any relevant information to your supervisor.

It will be your responsibility to coordinate and document each consumer's community and site-based training schedules, ensuring the continuity of their program through assessment, goal development, data collection, and other documentation. Flexibility will be key in adapting to changes in assigned areas based on consumer and program needs.

You will also assist in the development of community-based training sites, including volunteer sites, and provide assistance to Community College staff with site-based classes as needed. Maintaining open communication with the Program Coordinator and consumer care providers regarding any consumer needs will be essential.

Additionally, you may be required to provide physical assistance with feeding and in the bathroom for consumers as necessary. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Assist in maintaining a unified and cohesive program by carrying out the following duties:
• Provide meaningful training, individually or in small groups, that includes vocational development, mobility, recreation / leisure, self-advocacy, social and interpersonal communication, basic education, computer skills, and other personal goal areas. Ensure maximum participation of consumers in site and community based settings.
• Assist with the development of community based training sites, including volunteer sites.
• Assist Program Coordinators in identifying consumer's preferences and needs through annual person centered plan development.
• Participate in IPP meetings, discussing consumer program needs, physical needs, and other support needs. Report on needed goals and progress of current goals.
• Provide on the job training, support, and monitoring to consumers to ensure stability in job placement. Develop professional relationships with employers and keep supervisor informed of all developments.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in assigned duties based on consumer and program needs. (i.e. working with new consumers, changing work sites, etc.)
• Attend and participate in assigned ID Team meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and in service trainings.

Assist in the following program documentation:
• Coordinate and document each consumers community and site-based training schedules.
• Ensure continuity of consumer program through assessment, goal development, data collection, and other documentation.
• Complete ID Notes and care provider contacts as needed. Accurately complete any other required program documentation such as incident and seizure reports.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Program Coordinator and consumer care providers regarding any consumer needs that may arise.

**Position Summary:**
The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for Optum Community Care Services (CCS) is the senior clinical executive responsible for shaping and executing the clinical vision and strategy across the CCS enterprise. As a key member of the leadership team, the CMO provides oversight of all clinical operations, quality improvement initiatives, and medical management programs to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care to Veterans through the VA Community Care Network (VACCN).
This role combines strategic leadership with operational accountability, guiding multidisciplinary teams - including Medical Directors, behavioral health and dental leaders, and patient safety professionals - to achieve clinical excellence and meet contractual and regulatory requirements. The CMO serves as the principal clinical advisor to the CEO of CCS and collaborates with external and internal stakeholders, and external providers to advance whole-person care, value-based models, and innovative clinical solutions.
The CMO is responsible for ensuring that all clinical programs are aligned with Optum's mission to improve health outcomes and reduce costs while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, provider engagement, and regulatory compliance. This includes leading peer review processes, overseeing utilization management strategies, and driving continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making and performance monitoring.
As a visible and influential leader, the CMO fosters a culture of clinical integrity, collaboration, and accountability, while mentoring clinical staff and promoting professional development across the organization.

**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Strategic Clinical Leadership:
+ Lead the development and execution of CCS's clinical strategy, ensuring alignment with CCS goals, federal regulations, and Optum Serve's mission.
+ Oversight of Clinical Quality Programs:
+ Direct the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical quality initiatives, including peer review processes, patient safety programs, and performance metrics.
+ Governance and Committee Leadership:
+ Chair the CCS Clinical Quality Improvement Program Committee and oversee all clinical governance bodies.
+ Clinical Operations Management:
+ Supervise Medical Directors and other clinical leaders, ensuring consistent application of evidence-based practices and adherence to clinical standards.
+ Regulatory and Contractual Compliance:
+ Ensure all clinical activities meet federal, state, and contractual requirements, including CMS, VA, and Optum Serve consulting engagements.
+ Innovation and Program Development:
+ Lead the development of new clinical programs, including value-based care models, utilization management strategies, and integrated behavioral and physical health initiatives.
+ Stakeholder Engagement:
+ Serve as the primary clinical liaison to external and internal entities, fostering collaboration and trust.
+ Clinical Risk Management:
+ Oversee clinical risk assessments, adverse event reviews, and corrective action planning to ensure patient safety and mitigate liability.
+ Data-Driven Decision Making:
+ Utilize clinical data analytics to guide strategic decisions, monitor outcomes, and drive continuous improvement.
+ Mentorship and Education:
+ Provide mentorship to clinical leaders and staff, promoting professional development and clinical excellence.

**Required Qualifications:**
+ MD or DO with active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
+ Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Surgery, Physiatry, or Emergency Medicine
+ 15+ years of clinical experience, including 5+ years in a senior clinical leadership role
+ Proven expertise in clinical quality, utilization management, and regulatory compliance
+ Proficiency in data analysis and evidence-based decision-making
+ Demonstrated success in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex clinical programs
+ Proven exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
+ Willing or ability to travel up to 10%
**Preferred Qualifications:**

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $278,000 to $417,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. As a Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE), you will be partnering with Client Executives to lead the technical pre-sales consulting, design, and sales effort for a top customers of WWT. With our Advanced Technology Center ( ** ) at your fingertips for briefings, training, workshops, demos and POC's you'll be delivering best in class results for your customers.
**What will you be doing?**
The Consulting Systems Engineer (CSE) role will guide our technical sales efforts to mid-market service provider IT/Datacenter organizations. Day to day responsibilities will include leading and participating in customer sales meetings, presentations, white board sessions, consulting, and custom technical design work. The CSE will team with the larger sales team to build customer relationships, partner with multiple OEM's, and take part in technical training to provide continued value to the customers. Technical expertise expansion is a constant as the industry continues to evolve and customers look to their CSE partner to explain and apply the latest cutting-edge technologies. This position will require some travel.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Align with WWT Sales team to represent WWT's Products and Services offerings expertise to all assigned customer accounts.
+ Lead the technical discovery, qualification, solutioning, proposal creation and technical win activities of the sales process
+ Use knowledge of technology, products, and services to create customer-centric solutions (and solutions options) to solve our customers' business challenges
+ Develop and foster relationships with key customer stakeholders and strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
+ Deliver briefings, workshops, demos that enable our customers to understand WWT's value proposition and help them make the technology choices that best fit their needs
+ Work with clients and WWT Sales team to translate customer opportunities, challenges, and initiatives into WWT deliverables -- both technologies and services.
+ Act as the solution owner and work with the different services organizations to ensure a high-quality execution
+ Take responsibility for the coordination, delivery, and quality of presales technology solution deliverables -- e.g. architectural design diagrams, configurations, proposal responses, and test results.
+ Drive services statement of work creation, review, and presentation to customer
+ Use good business and financial acumen to create win-win outcomes
+ Ensure that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
+ Obtain OEM partner and technical certifications as part of a continuous learning and development plan
+ Develop relationships with peers at strategic OEM partners
**General Qualifications:**
+ 7 years of experience with multiple IT, Enterprise and Service Provider technology areas spanning Data Center, Networking, Security, and Cloud
+ 5+ years of which in a Pre-Sales capacity
+ Architecture, engineering or strong operational experience with data center, storage, server, backup and virtualization hardware, software and architecture(s).
+ Experience with private, public and hybrid cloud environments, cloud-native application considerations, automation and orchestration methodologies and tools.
+ Deep understanding of VMware, OpenStack, containers, Kubernetes.
+ Ability to design and quote data center networking, storage and compute solutions from multiple OEMs- esp. Cisco, Dell/EMC, HPE, NetApp, Hitachi
+ Architecture, engineering, or strong operational experience with IP backbone and provider edge networking technologies.
+ Experience working with Service Provider customers highly desired.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills are required.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships
+ Must have passion for creating solutions that solve business problems.
+ Strong personality with leadership skills working in a complex matrix organization.
+ OEM certifications highly desired.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
